Deus Ex Loading Saved Game Problem

So I recently bought Deus Ex GOTY via digital download with Steam.
I just have this problem:

I'm having trouble opening saved game files and as it is,I've already replayed the beginning about 5 times,maybe more.

The game keeps closing out and then I get this message:



I'm also having audio trouble.It's doesn't mute or skip or anything,the audio just sounds crappy,like audio from an old video camera.It's all static-y.

Any way to fix this?
