8GB RAM
Windows 7 X64
DX11-Mode

Like I said, the game still crashes out of no visible reason. Please respond.

Is the DX11 crashing fixed yet?

It's now 19 days since I last played the game ...

If you are using Nvidia hardware and DX11 I recommend you try the latest released beta drivers. Nvidia has reported that they fix many stability issues.

*BZZZZT WRONG* Fixes none of the Deus Ex crashes I've been getting. Makes a noticeable difference on most of my other games *except* for Deus.

Back to the drawing board Nixxes.

Where is it crashing? just randomly whilst walking around the level? on loading? where? do you get crashdumps created when it crashes?

Same to you, if you can step away from the buzzer please can you give exact details of what you are doing at the time it crashes?

Thanks

I've already explained my crashes in various other posts. But to repeat:

1) Once the game loads, if I screw up or die and try to load a save, the game crashes about 8/10 times.
2) Inspecting a quest inventory item = instant crash.
3) And yes randomly walking around the game will on occasion crash to desktop.

Nothing ever pre-empts the crash, I don't get artifacts or stuttering or any kind of slow down. And yes I have about 100 crashdumps here if you want some? plenty to go around.

Windows 7 64bit, GTX460, 8gb Ram

Issue 2 is not related to DX11 at all..

And these dont happen at all in DX9? (we're trying to determine if its the DX11 renderer etc)

How big are the crashdumps? do they compress well in to rar/zip files?

Just went to play and experienced a new crash, was coming out of the train stations...just past that awful dancer(who I intend to shoot at a later date) and the game locked up and made an awful sound...then ran smooth for a couple of seconds and then froze up again before crashing to desktop.

I won't give you all my crashdumps as they're around 200k each, I've zipped up the last 10 and they can be downloaded here:

http://cl.ly/1r2E2y1l1d303W1Q2g1l

Have fun...really appreciate any help and am totally ready to be humbled if it's something I'm doing wrong.

*UPDATE* Gonna go try DX9 now.

Yeh RAID... is that known to cause problems? Because I was thinking about just getting rid of it...maybe get a hybrid drive.

Raid works differently to standard HD's. as the data is potentially across multiple discs etc. Means you are reliant on your raid controller handling the data without any issue.. and like any device its a software driver that can be old etc.. It used to be the reserve of servers for data backup protection, but has become a bit more common on desktop machines, am sure there are people who dont even realise they have a RAID setup

Randomly. Walking through a room, shooting a guy, opening a door, it doesn't matter. Please forward my crashdumps as well:

please jaycw2309, give me any info about providing a way to disable head bob is:

- nothing we want to talk about (seems to be that way)
- impossible
- possible but not planned for the future
- possible and planned for the future
- possible and already being worked on

if this will not be changed at least i don't have to come here again and again and can uninstall dxhr and throw away my €40 german retail box

I asked about this and the bob is linked in with the animations am afraid (or something like that), so i dont think its possible to change much without causing other issues? (cant say fully understand how the camera/animation systems are tied up). The modders may find an unofficial way to remove it but i think its most likely not something we can do from an official patch. Theres a thread where they've enabled the debug menus etc, maybe post in there for a bit of unofficial help?

Could we have an update in the tram thread please? We're being suddenly ignored over there for no rhyme or reason.

Somebody help me please. I have random crashes every 10-20 minutes of gameplay without any error reports, the system just creates crash dump files in the game directory. I cant't find any problem in my system, cos all games except DE:HR run perfectly.

GTX 580-285.27 beta drivers (280.26 doesn't solve the problem too)
8GB RAM
Windows 7 X64
DX11-Mode (DX10-mode crashes too)

Please, please help me((

If you can put the crashdumps up for upload somewhere we see if we can get a dev to look at them.

Thanks, have retrieved these and passed on. You mention DX9 crashes too... Could you send some dumps that are from DX9 crashing as well?

I didn't try DX9 just DX10/11. But everyone says that DX9 means unreal stutter (actually DX10 stutters too).
