Looks like hex but I ran it through a translator and just got gibberish

Translated to base64 you get

o7KzwsKyI7LCkjwikjtyKSO2xysiPG1ywiPnIvcnJyd3dw==

maybe it's another cipher code?

Oh yeah, and referring to the "FC +SG = AW", I posted a long ways back that I think the AW = Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Illuminati. As we know the Illuminati is central in the game, and Adam Weishaupt is actually mentioned by name in DX1 so he's part of the canon. If we can find out who the other two people are maybe it's some kind of mathematical cipher?
base64 you put out is gibberish with the old code, so its either new code, or nothing.

Don't assuming there is sliding. Might not be a translate thing at all.

Then it is forgiven.

But we still need to know where the code is from. Is it all letters in the grid as coordinates?

Anyone have any luck getting anything out of the picture besides the slight changes?

Nope. I'm seriously doubting there is anything more to the image, if those small changes even HAVE meaning.

Does it do any good to overlay the grid onto one of the other images? I only ask because they are all the same dimensions, and the grid appears to be purposely offset. Why bother putting the grid off to the lower right and having empty space when it could fit in a smaller image?

Red herring? For funsies? the ONLY changes are they moved the arrows down (which i doubt means anything) and the time changed by 2 seconds (could possibly mean something)

Most religions reuse things from other religions to help them be more easily adopted, so I doubt it's related, though good eye on the Ra bit. Sadly, I doubt it's of use. Keep looking though.

I'm not sure anyone has tried that. Why don't you see what you ind when you do?

Is that not just related to the transition after inputting the first username/password? (not saying it's not worth a try, just offering a possible explanation).

Someone with a better GFX editor pls do this - it seems they all line up with letters on the page, but I cant enable transparency in MSpaint and do it accurately xD

EDIT: Just to clarify, make the grid image so that white is transparent, then overlay it onto the original Belltower.com image and give the letters from underneath (or even better - post the composite image)

i dont know. it might be. but the code breaks it up into smaller squares at the top with some coordinates i believe. I dont remember where in the code this is, I looked at it all last night when it came out and everyone was asleep.

I was all alone....

Does anyone know anything about image headers/metadata etc? Just had a glance at the details of the images using identify -verbose (running linux). The background pics don't look too interesting, but there's quite a bit of info in the output from the grid picture, but I don't know what to make of most of it (looks like quite a bit is from Photoshop Elements). Definitely nothing as obvious as the coordinates anyway.

I've tried doing it with flipping between instances of irfanview, unfortunately that's not quite cutting it. Sadly, nursing school never prepared me for photo editing =( Probably a long shot, but I'd like to see if it does anything.

Best I can manage from flicking from one image to the other with my finger on the right area is:

EL/ation/Bel/por/nu/secret or/Fam/rganiza

As much as it looks like that could be something...I fear it more than likely isn't.

I rly dont know either way - I can't do the image editing without redownloading photoshop (several GB) - which Im not gonna do - surely someone can has something like that installed? It'd be soooooo easy to prove/disprove, Im just curious because the first two clues clearly give ELation - but then it gets fuzzy, at least using my fingers to specify the area - if no-one does it in the next ten mins Im gonna make a little square cut out and blu-tac it on my screen while I switch between the two
