Opening Level Bug

I've bought the GOTY game from Steam and every time I try to play story mode there is a bug when Croc comes out of the lift. It all runs through normally, but after the guard says to power up the collar and get that animal under control nothing happens. I think croc is supposed to walk off to the left, but nothing happpens. I've stood there waiting for five minutes but croc just stands there and there isn't any more dialogue. Does anyone know how to fix this? It doesn't appear to be a common bug.
