Sorry to repeat, but does anyone know how to get rid of the black background on the Network App?

Cheers.

Delete the following line "ImageName=#SKINSPATH#\illustro\SHARED\Background3Line.png" from the ini under the "[meterBackground]" section, that would give you a transparent background.

this sucks because it looks awesome, but I have to wait until I get a new laptop to really use it. My current one is a few years old, really slow, and for some reason I can't change the wallpaper. It's just straight up black. But when I do upgrade this is gonna be the first thing I do. As soon as I have any idea how to do it. A complete start to finish walkthrough on how to install and set up the different things would be very helpful.

i got directed here from gameFAQs but i had to post in here to thank the lot of you for this.

This is absolutely lovely and exactly what i needed to keep me pumped for the super far away release date.

if there are any questions for other not so savy users I sat with this for awhile until i figured it all out by myself so if you are like me I try and explain in layman's terms if necessary.

You can have your own themes with PS3 you don't need to go through the Playstation store.

Default Um???

So can I get a step by step on how to install this cuz I just get the folder for "Deus Rice" from the download site and I haven't the slightest clue what to do with any of it. The "instructions" on how to download aren't very good instructions. Please help me out cuz I'd love to have this.

Thanks Joe Gamer, that helped a lot, now I can also increase the size of the Text without it getting cut off by the Background.

To PhoenixFiring, this is what I told someone else to do, Rainmeter is pretty straight forward so if you need help with that, just ask, but this is how to get the Rocketdrop looking Deus Ex'ish

"EDIT: Coldenhas, this is what I did.

Extract all 3 Rars in the Rocket Dock crap folder, then place the content of "icons" and "Vincent Joya Icons - Deus Ex Addon Icon Pack" into C:\Program Files (x86)\RocketDock\Icons (That's mine, yours may be different).

With the "Samurize-Deus-Ex---Human-Revolution rocket dock theme" folder, place the folder (not the contents) into C:\Program Files (x86)\RocketDock\Skins (Again, that's mine).

Also, inside the "Samurize-Deus-Ex---Human-Revolution rocket dock theme", extract the "Samurize Deus Ex - Human Revolution Icons" Rar and place the icons inside C:\Program Files (x86)\RocketDock\Icons.

Then, if you want to change the picture of an Icon on Rocketdock, Right-click the Icon then click Icon Settings and choose the picture of it there."

EDIT: HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK C***S

Figured it out, just delete the code in the .ini

Doesn't work correctly, it allows you to control the volume, but doesn't show what is playing or anything else.
Would really appreciate some help with this.

Hmmm, sorry I dunno Devlin. As I said, I don't use itunes so can't test.

Lartox, I dunno what you mean about changing the logon sound not working. worked perfectly for me in Win 7 64bit. I did use a different sound though. The once that came with the original download was too long for my liking so I'm using the intro to the theme from the original game. Here it is if anyone's interested...

It's ok, I was just seeing if there was anyone who would have a better idea. I've been fiddling with it, changing the plugin details, etc, but I can do is get it to change volume (which I'm sure is a windows thing anyway), not not display info of control it.

Yes. Ticking Play windows startup sound it plays W7's default sound no matter what i choose on windows logon. Unticking it plays no sound...

On a side note, i added a countdown clock for the game's release on my desktop

Just so you guys know, I tried a couple of days ago to change the Logon Theme and it wouldn't change, even when I made a new Sound Scheme and made sure it was set to the Theme I wanted, but it wouldn't work, so I Google'd it, and it turns out Windows 7 doesn't allow it (maybe with the odd exception, Gaughranorama got it to work on Win7 x64) unless you edit a few files.

I really couldn't be bothered attempting it though, I seen the words "Dual boot" and I was like "F**k it".

How did you add a Count down clock? I'd love that.

PS. I'm in Britain (Europe), are you as well, or will I have to change the Countdown timer?

EDIT: Should have used edit.

I'm in europe too, either way you have to edit it yourself through Rainmeter, it's pretty simple really, just changed the Event name and the "target" date. Took it from here http://rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=6952

This is beautiful. What exactly did you do after installing to get the Denton font on the System Info, Search Tool, Recycle Bin etc? I'm still struggling. Haven't been able to get it to appear on anything.

Not sure what it is then, I can't change the theme, if you have time, could you do a slightly detailed walkthrough?

Maybe you done something I didn't?

Anyhow, here is my Desktop, if anyone wants my .ini settings, ask.

EDIT: Joe Crow, this is how I got the Denton text.

First, install the Denton Text from the pack on the first page of the Thread

Then, in the .ini of, let's say, Systeminformation, change "FontName=" to "FontName=Denton"

That is what I done, and it worked, if you aren't sure where to put it (There are quite a few FontName=) then add Denton, save it, refresh the Application and see what changed, but, obviously, back up the .ini before you change anything, that's what I done.

Ah, okay, not sure why it's not working for me, just won't change to the Sarif Industries Theme, I might try checking if I can change the audio for other things.

Thanks anyway.

Also, thanks Charadesmith, that Countdown Timer is really easy to use.
