How to use the Sarif Industries Theme as your user log-on sound (Windows 7):

1. Download the pack
2. Open it with winrar
3. Extract it somewhere
4. Right-click on the speaker icon in the toolbar (next to the time)
5. Click on Sounds
6. In the windows that opens, navigate to Windows Logon and click it
7. Click on Browse and open the Deus Rice folder you just extracted
8. Click on the Deus Ex Human Revolution Sarif Industries theme.wav file
9. Click apply

FAQ:

1)Why is the song name of the media controller clipped off at the top?
-This is a problem with the .ini. (you will hear this a lot) Open the .ini for the controller and search for [MeterTitle2]. Change the Y value to -5.

2)Why is the font not working with rainmeter?
-Tricky one, that. It seems to be a different problem for each person, but placing Denton in front of the values Font= and Fontface= worked for me.

3)Rocketdock is painfully slow when I mouse over an icon.
-Go to the settings and turn off anything that even looks like an animation effect. Lower Icon quality may also help.

4)I want X Icon.
-There are extra icons added in the pack, as well as a photshop file with a template.

5)I can't find my weather code for the weather skin.
-Search for your location on weather.com. The url should then look like this: http://www.weather.com/weather/today/UKXX0085. If you were where I live, you would take UKXX0085
and place it where required in the .ini.

6)How do I remove the power and wifi sections of the system stats skin?
-Open the .ini and remove all text related to them.

The media player threw me too Hytherion. That info only shows up when there's media playing, otherwise it's just the volume. Tinkering with the ini files is time consuming when you don't know what you're doing but after much trial and error I managed to get it looking like this...

Apparently my computer sucks so bad, that the HR theme for Rocketdock brings my processor up to 100% Might be something else, seeing as the other themes were as slow.

And can someone plz help me? Once i installed everything i just can see the whole "skins" like the time and stuff but i cant see the whole desktop like that, once i installed everything what should i do ?

Here's how (windows 7 tutorial)

1. Download the convenient pack
2. Open it with winrar
3. Extract it somewhere
4. Right-click on the speaker icon in the toolbar (next to the time)
5. Click on Sounds
6. In the windows that opens, navigate to Windows Logon and click it

Haha, the truth is i was going to ask if this thing would work when starting Windows and not logging into my account since i dont have to, it automatically logs me :O but now i think about it hmm yes i would like to make this beautiful song play every possible second lol how can you do that too?

Even after installing all that, there's still a lot of work to do. If you use the Denton font, you have to change a lot of settings in the .ini.

Too bad the music isnt playing at windows startup, just the same windows sound, i even checked to make sure if it was, and there it was, so i dont really know why it wouldnt work. I was planning to put the song from the trailer, you know the one called "marketplace ambient theme" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osb5MkpMNOo from minute 2:47 to 2:57 (I love that voice) for the Log off or windows shuting down but it isn't working .

It really is a nice desktop, but if you change the font for the Denton font provided in the file, it become a real charlie foxtrot. If KingNL could provide his updated .INIs that would be sooo nice .

As for the .ini stuff I know there is something wrong with them but I haven't started on my own desktop yet, just the logon sound sorry

Here is a list of FAQs that bug the absolute out of both you and I. These have been answered to the best of my ability.

Thanks for posting this, it looks pretty incredible. I'm curious as to what skin is being used for the song name and pause/play buttons. I've looked around and can't seem to find it. I realise this wasn't created by you, but I'm assuming you took the screenshot yourself. Meaning that you must have that skin
