Yea, can just see the thumbnail
Still, lets me fantasize about it

Doing my work...then this truck comes...then a load of troops pile out...
And I sneak by them...

Yo the code can be found in game btw. It's a lot easier for the people who ordered the "explosive mission pack" cuz they get all the good bonuses (automatic hacking device? Cheap :P) . I still preordered the other one because I refuse to support Gamestop. I believe all codes can be found in game.

Anyways I don't love this Scavenger Hunt thing because I don't have a facebook or even a cell phone (PC gamer too). Sad hm? It took me winning a $50,000 scholarship competition just to persuade my parents to let me buy this game (But it's defiantly worth it ).

Well I prefer surching for codes ingame instead of participating in this "scavenger hunt"...
Im cool with it, and mind everybody to stay so since its obviously a strategy to adress certain marketing groups which is fine 4 me
I dont have an I phone and gonna play pc version.
Let the kids enjoy those apps
- reminds much the Coke -Codes you find on the backside of their bottle caps.
Well and nobody really bothers to look them hehe

So PC players need not apply?
One of the greatest concerns I've had about this game (with a strong PC history) from the beginning is that simultaneous development for the consoles would have a negative impact on its development (and focus) on the PC.

Looks like those fears weren't unfounded after all...

Is it a trick unlock, where it really only unlocks through some sort of Easter Egg methodology?

I'm just glad it's only an image, not a video, that's stuck in thumbnail mode.

vgchartz is all about the consoles. Don't mean a thing. And Deus Ex was relatively low budget (would have been even lower if Sq.Enix hadn't wasted all that money on advertising and the cinematic trailers... which really should have just been made into an entire movie), meaning that it should do well even if it doesn't sell a billion quadrillion units.

I see Modern Warfare 3 has still managed to wrangle up nearly 500,000 pre-orders. I had hoped BF3 might do better.

You know how much the game cost to make?

How could an amazing game like Human Revolution have a low budget compared to games like Call of Duty?

Because a huge amount of the budget for AAA titles goes on the marketing rather than the game itself. Even though each new CoD game is just an incremental update on what came before (at least since CoD4) and is fairly simple in terms of mechanics, making for a (relatively) low development cost, the marketing costs will shoot the total budget skywards. I have little doubt that DX4 cost more than the latest CoD purely in terms of development, but even with the extravagant spend of hiring out so much at space at industry events, I doubt EM's marketing budget will come anywhere close to what Activision spend on CoD each time.

I just received an email from the minds behind the QR missions. Here's what it said:

Quote:
Attention QR Hunters,

We've released a series of codes today for you to reach the community goal sooner, and nab that special endgame theme. Even more, we're going to hint less codes to you to make the missions more of a challenge. But we are not without compassion. Each code you now find will be worth at least 100 points; some codes may even be worth more. This new code value will remain on each code until we hint its location. Also, we are going to refrain from hinting at codes next week. The next hint will be revealed on July 11th.

It's up to all of you to work together, so continue hunting, and good luck!

I hope that's not the case. This is a really cool idea IMO, and it'd be a shame if it didn't take off.

Of course, more people might've done it if it was available outside the US....
