In my opinion, I think that the rumour of the game being pushed backwards is not true. We haven't heard any announcements and news, and when a false rumour is being spread around about games, developing and publishing companies are fast to react, silencing rumours.
If we have to wait until 2013? I wouldn't mind at all. I much prefer that a game has more time spent on it, that less time. I don't really care for a release date. I care for what Crystal Dynamics are doing with Lara's future, that's all.

Since this year just barely started, guessing holiday dates isn't a bad idea. But sure enough there may be another demo come E3. Or even PAX West (still the rest of the year till then). Definitely enough time to keep us guessing.

Two days ago rumors were flying that Diablo III will launch at February 1. Now Blizzard act instantly and said yesterday they didn't decide any release date yet & it just a rumor.
SE/CD should react like that.

i think the 2013 is false because CD put on the turning point trailer "Fall 2012" s clearly 2012 i really doubt they changed it lol , and June 2nd early dont you think , so that aint true at all , they havent confirmed much yet for it to be out then.

I really cant wait for the game to come, but if it is necessary for CD to hold it back just for making it even better, then it's ok by me. Work as long as you wish to give us a perfect Tomb Raider.

Ditto. I'm fine with a delay, even though a part of me hates it, I'm thankful that this time around they're taking their time to put the best of their efforts into it and make it as best as they can.

I say forget about Fall 2012, lets release it Summer 2012.

^ I doubt they know more than us. But yeah, Fall, as the trailer says. I don't think CD would have put a time slot if they weren't certain it would be done by then.

the only way to be sure when a game comes out, if the developers it self states it on their website or an offical trailer with the date. otherwise, all the other game sites, etc, can say whatever they want.

The latest Crystal podcast clarify about this question. And most of the 2012 TBA games probably has December 31 2012 release date in gamestop, even in IGN.com.
