Game Freezing Problem

I just recently purchased Just Cause 2 and I cannot seem to get it to run on my laptop.

It runs through the intro movie just fine, but when it goes to load gameplay it freezes to a balck screen with only sound. This also happens if I try to load the last autosave. This crash makes me have to reboot as I cannot terminate the task from Task Manager either.

I am running a Core i7 with a Radeon 5650 video card and Windows 7. I have tried updating the drivers for the card and still have had no success.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
