Hey guys, I remember a little back that Europe were pissed because they couldn't order the augmented version or something and they were unsure about the day 1 dlc packages!

Just give it time.

No the only thing european players have to complain about is the release date. We get the best deal with the augmented edition because it includes all dlc.

No?

When the dlc packs were announced, I'm 100% sure that we were being confused on twitter that only US partners for the DLC were announced and EM/Square staff reassured us more details were to come on Europe store partners.

Just checked, I'm right.

Only difference is that here it is a exclusive European deal. Hopefully only for the time being.

You are wrong EU get ALL dlc in the augmented edition. US has to choose between two packs. This has been discussed to death on the forum and I double your 100 percent sure with 200 sure. So there.

If you dont belive me here. http://www.budgetgaming.nl/game-prof...dition_PC.html I can pre-order the augmented edition anytime I want and it includes everything.

And I don't where you 'checked' but there is a thread with all information on teh front page: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=115011 Which clearly states what I just said.

I just checked and I think I udnerstand now why Arbie thinks this way. Amazon responded and said they don't have the explosion mission pack, but that's no confirmation for me. There is also nothing in Kyle's tweet that indicitated eu doesnt get the explosive mission pack, so unless we get confirmation we won't know for sure.

You finally understand that I meant ~when~ it was announced now?

Without repeating myself completely, when preorder packages were announced the store exclusives only listed US or North American retailers at first. There was some confusion but we were reassured that more info on them will be posted at a later date regarding EU and Worldwide.

It was, and it was resolved months ago. My post had nothing to do with augmented edition. An initial mistake on my behalf.

----

Unlike that, all I can see is EU and NZ/AUS exclusive confirmation re: Collectors. What I meant was, give it time, the demand might warrant world release.

It's obscene, how much more we have to pay for stuff like video games and clothing. But this situation does have its advantages, I suppose. Having to drop $100 for a new release title means you generally want to make damn sure the product's worth a c-note.

Here's a larger version of the collectors edition cover image unless it's been posted elsewhere.

I like the simplicity of it. Got a bit of a hedgehog vibe going on though. :P

For those of you who wanted other figures...*cough* Federova, courtesy of Kotaku. Also other figurines in the gallery.

Today I spotted the CE on TheHut.com but the price it's a bit too far.

Please confirm the price is entirely wrong...

Also, the Fedorova figure is quite creepy

Same with shopto.net, 95 pounds, which is just insane for a lousy artbook, a lousy soundtrack and essentialy the figurine. Amazon.de is selling the Collectors Edition for 89 euro, that is still very expensive but it's way below of that prices.

Well, we should give credit that the AJ figure has a value of its own, and I am willing to pay 15-20 euros plus the price of the Augmented Edition for it, but not much more.

I mean, I'm already paying 43 euros (37,99 pounds) plus shipping for the Augmented Edition from Game.co.uk and I don't mind paying 60-65 euros for the Collectors from the same site, if available.

I already posted about above into the Collector's thread and was going to post it also in here but the above poster already did.

£99 for the Brits to pay. Seems a lot for my pauper's pocket... but I'll pre-order and save from now until August. It won't be such a shock to my bank balance then.

A good option my lady as 99 pounds is too high a price to justify for me at the moment if at all.

Ideally, I'd love to have this edition sent in the post to me by EM - with the signatures of the team slapped all over it.
Well, I can dream....

The figures alone are an astounding $50 (US) which is about 35 euro. Each. At least, that was the price on Kotaku's article.

Then my lady we should lobby them for an ultimate edition containing the book and comics and high resolution key art posters (as i already proposed) and have each one signed by hand. Now that would be worth a hundred pounds.
