Question:

If the rest of the game was similar to the part you have played (in terms of story, depth, voice acting, atmosphere, gameplay, graphics and so on), would you be satisfacted with the Deus Ex game?

I'm sorry for my English - I'm Polish and English grammar isn't my speciality.

The problem is that Adam needs to be able to regen even before he becomes augmented (for gameplay purposes), so it's hard to think up a compelling explanation for that. And really, no game has been able to explain why the main character can take 5000 bullets, and still be in perfect health.

It's one of those things where you just have to suspend disbelief.

You could do it but you'd have to have cutscenes and it wouldd be kind of ehh.

When playing the preaugmented Adam level don't have regen, then whenever the player "dies" just cutscene the relevant story. If the player atually reaches the point that he's supposed to reach then have a scripted event where Adam is shot.

In theory this is a good idea and could work to show the player that he is weak were others that have Augmentations are strong. but if the player makes it, they can feel rewarded that no augmentation can match pure skill.

Well, Im gonna say no and that doesnt mean that I didnt like what I saw. But the demo didnt have any city parts or real social problem solving yet, which I think is a charm of the game. I know it is in the game but I havent played it yet. In terms of story, depth and athmosphere its top notch though. Just need more than the opening 3 hours for a final verdict.

Also, your English seems perfect to me.

If I'm not mistaken it was actually mentioned somewhere (possibly one of the previews) that you even get a bit more XP for sneaking rather then taking the more direct approach. Something along the lines of "the harder something is to do the more XP you get...".

Do you mean that as in "it's not bad, but it's not that good either" or just to tell people "I did not dislike the game"? I know a little about Dutch grammar, and because of this I get the feeling the intended purpose was the latter, but it comes across as the former

Well technically I used the english grammar version here, but what I meant to say is, I can tell you with certainty it will not be a bad game (ie a good game if you like to think in black and white), and my assumption is it might even be a great game (as in 9 - 10 out of 10 reviews) Reason I dont give a final statement is that previewsessions tend to not give a full view of the game so I will always keep my reservations untill release.

It was more of a sarcastic undertone really.

again you dont need an ultra realistic game to make it immersive...

just a quick example: i've been very immersed by duke nukem 3D.
and it wasn't at release, but 2006-2007 somewhere around this time

This!

Without *this* there's no reason to talk about AJ being fully-human before the raid.
So much talk about the Transhumanism theme and it fails right in the beggining!?

This is one of those moments were gameplay mechanics should be adapted to push the story. Couldn't Mary intervene on this!?

Can gameplay controls in Deus EX Human Revolution be customized for PS3
similar to controls in Call of Duty series, for example:

I'm like others is used for L1 to be Zoom or Iron Sight not R3 and also L3 is Sprint
on many games.

In Deus EX Want/Like to be
----------- ----------------
Sprint is L2 Sprint standard L3
Iron Sight R3 Iron Sight L1
