Only a matter of time before we see ASB&R Batman. We've already got TDKR and Year One confirmed.

Fox needs to just sell their Bat-stuff to WB, so this world can be a better place with Adam West Batman skins for Arkham City.

They should use that Year One skin as a tool for cross-promotion.(I.e. buy Batman:Year One on DVD or Blu-Ray and get an exclusive Year One Arkham City skin. It'd make sense, seeing as how they're both released on the same day.

Oh man, thats awesome. Not quite as scrappy as he is in the book but this just might be my favourite so far.

And I think I've narrowed down my choices for my next book order:
- Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
- Jonah Hex: Guns of Vengeance
- Punisher MAX: Up Is Down and Black Is White
- Marvel Masterworks: Amazing Spider-Man, Volume 4
Total: $48.57

Pretty great stuff. I hope that they, in the end, allow these costumes to be used in the game, itself, and not just the challenge rooms.

I doubt we'll see an ASBAR skin. The ASBAR skin is just Jim Lee's Batman with a different belt, gloves and symbol. I think its more likely we'll see a Jim Lee skin (especially considering this is basically a David Mazzucchelli skin).

Dax Ginn confirmed at Comic-con that you can play through the entire game with skins if you so choose.

EDIT:ASB&R is more different than that. He has epic Beardness.

It seems my Captain America Omnibus got lost in the mail system, if i don't get it by this friday i'll file a report and ask for my money back, because apparently i can get it for 1€ cheaper on amazon.co.uk lol.

Also the new checkout on Book Depository sucks. My Mastercard doesn't work there anymore, not really into shopping with my Visa card.

It actually did collapse once. Luckily no major damages to any of the books, just the spines looking abit gruffer.

Well even a bag should do for protection's sake.

Grant Morrison talks!
Batman:
- Certainly the whole year of Leviathan is about the Batman/Damian relationship and where that goes, and like I said it's a big "weepy" type of story, so it'll be very much in that vein. It's really Damian relating to his father for the first time in a big way and the two of them trying to find some kind of common ground, which they don't really have.
- Leviathan from Secret Seven and Inc's Leviathan are not related. Morrison simply liked the name.
- "this is the one I want" because it's the Biblical serpent, the idea of the ouroboros, everything fit in there so I just thought, well, "that's a different Leviathan." The original one in Klarion was simply because I thought it felt that Puritan time period, and the Biblical references were really good, and it could relate back to that Biblical notion of that mighty beast from the beach."
- Morrison talks how Leviathan is his big conclusion and ties everything down, no mysteries left to ponder, this is the conclusion to everything Morrison's done.
- If Morrison had left Batman titles after R.I.P he would have left Dr. Hurt's identity a mystery, but as he kept writing and writing he started tying everything down.
- Talia al Ghul should appear as Morrison wants to make her Talia more well rounded character.
- He doesn't like Ras' al Ghul and liked when he got killed off.
- There won't be crossovers but Peter J Tomasi's book does also deal with Bruce and Damian, so thats the closest thing there will be, Morrison's doing his own thing.

Action Comics:
- Alot of Lara (Superman's biological mom)
- #3 deals with Superman's parents during the Death of Krypton period.
- Morrison's take on Krypton: Mashing up a lot of the stuff I like about it. It's the Planet of the Supermen, it's the Things to Come 1930s idea of the future, where everything's slightly art-deco and retro, that kind of lost golden age vision of perfected men and women. I'm not doing the John Byrne cold stuff, but -- the scene in Action Comics #3, we've got Baby Kal-El sitting on a balcony on a gigantic skyscraper on Krypton, and there's no guardrails -- just this little baby sitting there, legs over the side, with a thousand-foot drop. And over there all the women are chatting and gossiping, but what they're gossiping about is "oh, did you hear Doctor Kem-Daj has discovered the new quantum equation?"

They're all laughing, and it's all these science people gossiping and it's their idea of social interaction, all this really high-level science stuff. They're ignoring the kid because they know he's not going to jump -- even the children are too smart to fall off, so they just let him play over there near the edge. So that's the take we're doing on it, and it's not they're cold, they just have a completely different attitude towards child safety than we do.
- 16 issues planned so far, Morrison will stay aslong as he finds it exciting.
- 1st Arc is set in 5 years past, 2nd arc begins in Modern day but it doesn't end there.
- Morrison's big plan on Superman: , the whole thing is much more complex than that, because I wanted to do a big story involving time. It's got the Legion in there -- a slightly different version -- and it's a big timeloop story. So we're seeing some of the past stuff, then we cut to the present, and then we go back to areas in the past so it's really a big, big story in the same way I did with Batman, telling the entire story of Superman's life but in a different way from Batman, which was much more linear and drawing on the elements of the past. This one's actually quite dynamic and moves through his life, and it's kind of Superman's life as seen from a five-dimensional perspective.
- With Batman, Morrison used old comics and created a history thru that, with the relaunch Morrison is creating an entire new history for the Man of Steel
- Black President Superman confirmed to make a crossover within Action Comics.

Multiversity:
- The Black President Superman has been confirmed as a major character for Multiversity.
- Nazi issue opens with Hitler reading Action Comics on the toilet and he's pissed!
- The multiversity heroes communicate with each other thru comic writers and artists, so yes they're reading each other adventures and this big crisis happens and they have to unite together.
- Nix Uotan is in the story, but the other Monitors are.
- Bunch of new villains created for this.
- A comic as a weapon! If you read it, you become haunted!

Grant has some crazy ideas, definitely interested in this stuff. I wonder if, after Leviathan, DC releases some sort of "The Complete Batman by Grant Morrison?" Be it an Omnibus or an Absolute, I'd love to have all of the stuff collected, maybe even in split volumes.

Well, Leviathan will complete his Batman epic, right? They could definitely unclude all of his work so far, aside from Batman:Gothic, I guess.

Yep, Leviathan is his last in the RIP Saga. I can really see it though. Collecting: Batman & Son, Batman:The Black Glove, Batman:RIP, Final Crisis (maybe), Batman:The Return of Bruce Wayne, as well as Batman & Robin #1-16, Batman Inc. and Leviathan. Split up into 2 or 3 volumes. I honestly can see this happening, especially considering that DC is releasing a $150 hardcover chock full of 52 comics.

The 150$ collection is just for those who truly think this is something historic in the comic history, noone in sane right would purchase 52 issues for 150$ when the digital versions would make 52 #1s into, what? less than 50 dollar purchase by the time that trade comes.

DC Omnibuses are approx 16 issues of context, so if they wish to someday make Omnibuses after they're done with their deluxe editions, that would be approx 4-5 Omnibuses.
Action Comics #3 cover:

In celebration Lex Luthor is eating 40 cakes!

So i've seen all Batman the Brave & the Bold episodes now, man season 3 was wacky. Nazi Dinosaurs! Mitefall was the finale and it made me . It's a very bittersweet ending with Bat-mite causing the show down despite Ambush Bug's best efforts, you get crazy things like Batman using guns and whatnot, it was hilarious.

Marvel won IGN's Marvel vs DC thingy.

Heroes: Marvel got 66% of the vote vs DC's 34%, a landslide victory for Marvel
Villains: Marvel got 56% of the vote vs DC's 44%. a close call
Games: Marvel got 55% of the vote vs DC's 55%, another close call
TV: DC got 56% of the vote vs Marvel's 44%, yet another close call
Movies: Marvel got 71% of the vote vs DC's 29%, the widest margin of the five

I figured DC would win the villains poll but I was right about everything else. Just further evidence that DC cannot rely on Batman alone in other media.

I'm surprised that DC lost in the Games category. I prefer quality over quantity, and I think AA stood out more than any of those Marvel games. Marvel has had some good games, but I think Arkham was the first Comic Book Game to actually be a AAA title and prove itself against the big guns.

Quality over quantity is fine, but when theres only one good game vs several good games it stretches the ethos too far. Why should one company be deemed superior to another company just because they put out one great game instead of a half dozen good games. As good as that one game may be its still just one. Marvel has put out a plethora of good games and for multiple characters like Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, Punisher, Wolverin and even a good game based on the Marvel Universe itself. Marvel won the games category for the same reason DC won TV: Quality and quantity.
