Definitely. I'm hoping Marvel does something along the lines of a relaunch since their characters are a lot more interesting (to me).

What i also try to do is try to avoid telling anything about the plot and my biggest problem which is me repeating the same old.

They put alot of effort on the creative teams. I'm very intriqued by Minutemen, Rorschach, Comedian and Nite Owl.

I'm probably going to get hated for this, but I really don't like Skyrim, I borrowed a friend's, and it's glitchy, laggy, and even the save system sucks. In a game where everything is about choices, you'd think it would autosave after bigger moments, but no, I kill a chicken, get attacked, fight back, and continue to die over and over (Groundhog Day!) unless I start all over again. Shame, too, I really wanted to enjoy this game...

Spiderman, Hulk, and the X-Men would be nice.

What recent relaunches have they done?

Moon Knight, Daredevil, Hulk, X-Men, Punisher just received a relaunch with Punisher for example even getting deaged, now nolonger a Vietnam veteran, but a Gulf war one.

Incredible Hulk is by Jason Aaron, the X-Men relaunch you should check out is Jason Aaron's Wolverine & the X-Men where Wolverine has become a headmaster of Jean Grey's School for Higher Learning, both titles have had like 4 issues out.

with Spider-Man you could check out Dan Slott's Spider-Man: Big Time ultimate collection. Or Brian Michael Bendis' All New Ultimate Spider-Man which features a completely new character folowing the foot steps of Peter Parker.

@Batfan08: Skyrim is a game that takes investment to get paied off, but it does have it flaws as well. You seem to be playing it in console and yeah the constant quick saves done manually can get to you.

I haven't heard particularly good things about Jason Aaron's Hulk but ok.

And I meant a sort of relaunch where the origins and such would be explained while telling a fresh new story. Is that what those are?

Good so far, my suggestions:
- Change the color tune, something more white or blueish.
- Make Gotham look more Neo Gotham
- More Tron inspiration, you know you want to.

Your best bet is to see the reviews for the upcoming Marvel Season One books. They're based off DC's Earth One series but instead of A-list writer and artist, they're pulling new comer writer and artists out there. This year there will be Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Spider-Man, X-Men and so forth. So those could be for you, but i mean new ongoings always have this sorta 1 page cap in Marvel books and at times references to the origin like a spider-bit scene or something.

It has been a great pleasure to watch 2 really good George Clooney movies in such a short time. 1st the movie he co-starred, directed and co-wrote the Ides of March, now a family comedy-drama directed by Alexander Payne.

The movie deals about a family dealing with the Mother Elizabeth going into comatose and the inevitable death she is going to face, the family’s man/father is Matt King (played by George Clooney) and the protagonist of the film, but the way the film is played and the spotlight given, I’d say the father and his two daughters are protagonist all together. 10-year Old Scottie (Amara Miller) and 17-year Old Alex (Shailene Woodley) are the daughters, Scottie being an artistic adventurous foul mouth kiddo with Alex being the drunken pot smoker who has a thing for older men. Matt has always been the back-up parent and now he has to deal with trying to raise them all by himself.

Now what intervenes and molds part of the main plot with the family having to deal with Elizabeth’s death is also that she cheated behind Matt’s back and Matt feels he must see this cheater and learn why Elizabeth would be a backstabber to her husband and children. So Matt has to deal with this, his daughters and informing about Elizabeth’s ensured death and her inevitable funeral to their loved ones. This is Matt King’s personal hell on the paradise Hawaii.

“My friends think that just because we live in Hawaii, we live in paradise. We’re all just out here sipping Mai Tai’s, shaking our hips and catching waves. Are they insane? Do they think we’re immune to life? How can they possibly think our families are less screwed up? Our heartaches, less painful?” is a quote that actually opens the movie, but it’s the perfect way for me to talk about the other star of the movie: Hawaii itself. Just like what Peter Jackson did to New Zealand with his Lord of the Rings trilogy. Alexander Payne manages to show how utterly beautiful Hawaii can be, but at the same time showing how much the same it is, how dirty it can be and how dark and grey if the peoples’ moods are down. I really liked the quote and I paid a lot of attention to the scenery and greatly enjoyed how much of Hawaii I got to see. The film is also filled with Hawaiian music, which I felt was a good choice to add up for the sceneries.

What I really loved about the movie was that it had really unique and different characters, the supporting characters we’re good, and all the main characters and their supporting characters got developed during the course of the movie and life went on. They all learn something from this experience and come off as smarter and better people with new values, it uplifts them and it uplifts the audience. I just really loved how George Clooney gets to do these incredibly serious movies with 10 year old daughters swearing, family crises and dealing with serious subjects like death in a family.

So without a further doubt, I warmly recommend this movie to everyone. It’s really good.

Yeah. Out of the three, TDKR looks like it'll be the best film, but yeah, they all look awesome/fun.

If the Cobblepots go back centuries in Gotham why does Penguin speak with a British accent? And if hes faking it then why would he choose a lower-class Cockney accent?

lol, I wondered what happened to you. Hm, back to AC's Penguin stuff, eh? I believe the stories you uncover say that is parents sent him to school in England and he then spent time in their seedy underworld making a name for himself in their gangs. I can't remember if he dropped out of the school his parents shuffled him off to, or what, but basically I can see it as:

A) After you spend so much time in a place, osmosis can sometimes set in where you unconsciously start talking like those around you.

B) he liked the accents of the criminal element he hung around with and chose to be more like that, maybe to even fly in the face of his parents and the higher-ups in Gotham that shunned him and his family.

C) He took up the accent for practical reasons when dealing with the element over there, as it helped him win over those he dealt with better.

D) Rocksteady just wanted him to reflect something British for the hell of it, because they are and they wanted to leave their own mark on Batman's world Nolan North was a big name to get, but he maybe did a far better cockney accent than a more to-do British accent.

E) *shrugs* lol, and we might never know for sure.

Edit: There's a new Smallville continuation happening, in comics:

So, George Lucas now says that Han always shot first; we just couldn't see it before. We all were just confused by closer shots and that's why he added in the wide shot, to clear up our confusion...

I think the man's literally gone insane.

It's his story and property so he can enhance it however he wants, but making claims like that is just downright silly. Why can't he just admit he wanted to change a scene?

Thoughts & Rambles on Carnage!
Quote:

Roman Polanski’s latest film is an loose (keyword: loose) adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage play. Set in a single apartment with 4 actors, no music, no special effects and just being pure cynical black humor for the duration of 79 minutes what does it offer for the audience? Laughter, tons of laughter and a heck of a good time!

The movie stars Jodie Foster & John C. Really as Penelope & Michael Longstreet, while Christopher Waltz & Kate Winslet star as Alex & Nancy Cowan. Two couples, two parents and thus a setting of 4 people confronting each other because of their children’s behavior sets off an awkward beginning. It’s so spot on filmography how uncomfortable the situation is for everyone and how the Cowen family just wishes to leave, but due to “social norms” the Longstreets offer a cup of coffee and the awkwardness just continues until it hits straight to hell. This is pure carnage in every level.

To give a quick summary about these characters: Penelope Longstreet is the “we must think ourselves higher and become more greater and generous human beings”, Michael Longstreet is your standard cool relax chill no-arguing father, Alex Cowan is the brutal lawyer who doesn’t really give a about anything with his loving wife Nancy being the woman who acts nice but is just a nasty Diva herself. These 4 people put into same room arguing, is pure golden comedy. I loved the hell out of this film and me and my friend got into a really good audience that was just bursting with laughter. It was a really great way to spend a Friday evening.

That’s all there is to say about the film at its core. It demonstrates how great actors with a good vision director who knows how to pace, cut and tell a story can turn into such a wonderfully memorable experience , and as a big fan of Christopher Waltz I just loved how much charisma he oozed. All the actors give wonderful emotional expressions thru their faces, but its Waltz and C. Reilly who steal the show, they we’re just the most bastards relaxed horrible human beings out there.

I just can’t stop thinking how much of a good time I had, the way the whole movie ends is just a good cruel joke to these people.
