Default What is wrong with this game. . . . . . . . . .

Really? I am playing on "normal" and no matter what I do, just walking down the street, 200000 enemies are shooting at me. Im floating thru the trees minding my business when everyone on the map starts shooting me, I hide after laying explosives on the other side of the map, trigger them to blow and. . . you guessed it! Every enemy on the game is shooting me, howd they know I was hiding under the stairs behind the AC unti crouched with no view?????????. I get shot from behind, turn around kill him, get shot from behind, turn around shoot him, guess whats next... I get shot from behind.
Now I got the game thinking that this looks cool I can play how I want! Well im a sniper so I get my rifle and do some recon..... EMPTY! Look in the guard towers... empty, jeeps empty houses empty etc.... Jump from my post and the alarm sounds.... 7 helos, 19 jeeps, 35 motos and 200000 people (who are all behind me no matter which way I turn...

Dont get me wrong here, you wanna throw in 5million soldiers at a base lets do it!! But can I see them before all havoc breaks loose????? How come the "ghost town" that I am recon over is now packed full of enemies??
Because it is a meathead run and gun game.. No skill needed just point shoot point shoot. The computer is way too "advanced" in the search department... I was behind a generator laying down some c4 on it when the guards (on the other side of the unit that were turned around) yell its gunna blow, alarms sounds and 20000 enemies are shooting at me... Game could be fun if it wasnt a cluster of retarded events...
Let the flaming begin. . .

This post will probably get closed fyi but anyway bfore it does (if it does) maby i can add my own thoughts on this.

1:20,000 guys is an exaggeration. There arn't near that many. (i know u were probably just giving an example but still...)

2: Have u tried killing a colonel? Those take some skill. Also it takes skill not to die when everyone is chasing you. Shooting them all is a BAD idea unless you have tons of ammo.

3: When your low the fastest way to get ammo is buy the weapon your using from the black market.

4: Ya i guess that gaurds seem to have a high-powered GPS in there heads, but i think that adds to the fun. Makes you think of different ways to take out stuff.

5: If your on a roof or something, then your heat will likely go down quickly. It just stays the same if they can see you...

Anyway that's all i really have to say =/

very true there are 2mil peoplechasing me lol. I always killthe colonel first. in fact that is my main role in the game. one quick snipe to the head and he is gone.
I appreciate the reply (without flaming). I guess my point is drwaw distance maybe? Otherwise I would expect to see troops on the base guarding it. I try not to war with all of the troops since there are 200000 (sorry had to) of them lol. but after the initial visit, everytime after the enemy is ready for war and expect for me to arrive.
Dont get me wrong, GTA in a war style environment is GREAT! The rest of the game keeps me occupied, it just seems like this game is more for the gun-ho shoot everything with a bazooka and move on type game. I was really hoping to enjoy the game from my favorite aspect (through my scope), however it seems this is just not in the works for me. I like the game and will continue to play it until I beat it and then return it. After watching the game I was sure I was going to buy it. I didnt like JC1 but was really impressed with JC2 so maybe JC3 will be a game I would buy... Only time can tell!
Thanks again for the reply and enjoy!

I have trouble with that sniper stuff to, there is no point for the snipers in this game, they can zoom in pretty far but unless ur within a certain range of the enemy you can't see them and when you shoot an enemy with a sniper even from a distance they immediatly spot you and you get surrounded.

I wouldnt have wasted my time on here if I didn't hate to love it lol, not to mention that I sucked at the game too, many noob mistakes... Unless my game magically listens to me now, or is it because the fam went to sleep???? lol

Elite, just make a nice perimeter lap around the base (always taking the colonel first) and soon the herd will thin out as long as u ALWAYS shoot whoever sees u.

As for the colonel the farther the shot the better. Around 500-600m is a nice one.

My bad for the spam, this game has waay too much detail to thumb down.

ps. while trying to rage the forum both my first choice names were taken thus resulting in my current profile name lol

Dunno if it was mentioned yet, but to kill a Colonel you have to either use explosives (rocket launcher, grenade, triggered explosive, ect), hit them with something powerful (i.e. run over them [this would be hard, not many Colonels are on roads, many are on rooftops], or shoot them in the head with a gun [best method, in my opinion]).

Also, if you are trying to escape from enemies while being chased, just go up a mountain or something, or, if you have to, drive a vehicle away, but I'd advise against using the roads - the enemy will use their own vehicles to follow you, and more will keep coming. If you go out into the jungle, you can either kill the enemies following you (normally, if away from any bases, I'll have around 2-5 vehicles [jeeps, motorcycles] with enemies following me. If your aim is good, you can kill them all with a few well-placed grenades and some follow-up shots with whatever gun you have.

Plus, if you REALLY need to get out of an area fast, get the Black Market Aerial pack. It includes a set of thrusters that attach to your parachute harness and allow you to rocket away. It can allow you to speed away from enemies very fast - or go part way up the side of a mountain to escape them. Also, some of the other DLC items are very useful in many situations. Try downloading some of them.

And also trying to lose awareness of urself. As long as the bar is red they will continue to multiply. I come in raise hell and escape until they forget me, rinse and repeat. less and less people will be there usually about 3 good runs or less. 1 to plant c4 until i am seen while looking for boxes, once im seen, I blow up everything and run. and then the follow up is usually light since I dsable the towers so they cant call in help. but if u return before the bar dies down, they will retaliate in big numbers. if u wait and return they will come back in 2s and 1s.

If you point your crosshairs at an enemy with a weapon drawn and they see you, you will enter heat.

If they see you plant c4 you will enter heat.

If your rebel friends are close to you and attack the government you will enter heat.

If you get to close to certain government property/violate an elite's personal space, you will enter heat.

Dont do any of those things and you wont have any more problems.
