And please, do a small crosshair.
Adding the questions to the list. Maybe yours will be answered, anunnaki!

Thank you.

I just remember hearing some chines while Adam was taking his little tour to the hive, You could probably hear it better if it was HQ.

How do you know they're not doing this already, and JJB is just running off screen to change clothes between questions. lol

Ahhh! Now I have another question:

Is there any in-game e-mail system? Can it be used to plan/accept meetings and missions, or is it just used for reading like in the first DX?

Oh, i just used the Thief forums as the most alarming example. I dont think this forum is above the Thief forums, or the opposite.

Which is a little bit sad. The developers probably arent going to care about this non-existent game (As happened with DXHR, we suppose). They could just enlight us with some concept art at least.

I'm not asking for super screenshots, marvelous gameplay trailers and a demo. Nah.

I just wanted something to show us that Eidos actually remembers that the forums exist.

At least change the Thi4f logo. That shouldnt take much time, i think.

Just less twitter, and more forums.eidosgames.

Or would that be selfish?

Got a question:

Is it really true that the player is able to kill every single NPC in a level, and still have the ability to progress in their mission?

Ok i'll add a question too and stop whining about whiners about whiners.

Question:

Does Adam's appearance change during the course of the game, when modifying augmentations, or when starting certain missions?

Another Question:

Is there any swimming in the game? Or the water is just visual?

Thank you, and sorry if i repeated a question

I hope so, they made TPP because of it, so I wanna see how the augmentations change his appearance! Adam has also two outfits: trenchcoat for social hubs, like crowded streets or the Hive, and without trenchcoat for places where some action is expected. Anyway, I would like to hear more info from JJB himself.

Excellent question. I was thinking about it too, but I forgot it before I had a chance to ask it here

I personally think there is some swimming going on, because we've seen an aug with symbol of lungs:

I have also one question, still unnoticed, which I'd like to add:
  • Adam has his own apartment. What is the idea behind it?
Do we need to visit it to perform some actions (e.g. augment ourself) or is it just a place we can 'beautify' by spending credits?

I don't know if anyone pointed this out but for anyone who was horrified by the long distance highlighting of objects one of those aug logos show a radar dish fully augmented, seems like that would represent it and explain why Adam could highlight things from such a distance in the gameplay trailer. It's the 3rd in from the left. Anyone think they can decode the entire aug tree?

Yeah, I hope it is an augmentation. In Bioshock highlighting was so so so so so awful. Plus the arrow. You did not have to think at all - click the yellow thing, follow the arrow, shoot - game over. Like for somebody retarded. I hope it is different in DX:HR. On the other hand, they said Bioshock was a very big inspiration...

Uhm ... maybe some people actually found the arrow like ... helpful? Personally I found it nice touch how developers included it in Bioshock. God knows the level design wasn't the most straightforward. It helped play the game in more fluid manner without getting stuck looking for where to go next.

Agreed the highlighting was totally awful in Bioshock. At least you could turn it (and the arrow, IIRC) off though. I don't get the feeling we'll get that option in DXHR.

Does anyone know if there is actually some sort of intel hud augmentation? They have it in the cinematic trailers but haven't seen any actual proof of it, other than that one clip with little popups every time you kill someone. It would be cool to highlight and get intel on enemies as long as you could toggle it.
Is that an option....JJB?

Your link takes me to a YouTube login. This one works without a login: http://www.youtube.com/user/EidosMon.../0/ZQsT9X8-4xM So, JJB is pro Transhumanism. That explains the shift from bleak-blue to optimistic-golden.

It's private for some people. So strange, but not the strangest thing I've seen happen to uploads on YouTube.

Edit: In any case, try the facebook one? http://on.fb.me/fkZk1n.

Just use the link in my post above (to EM's youtube-channel) and it'll work just fine - or am I on your ignore-list already?

First of all, greetings to administrators and JJB for making this kind of interaction possible!
Also, salute to Irate Iguana for saying what was on his troubled mind...

question:

So far, from what we've seen, you've succesfully created a grim, dystopian and at the same time beautifull and rich, tech noir, cyber punk world! By allowing for Retinal Prosthesis to be initial augmentation, don't you think that contradicts the "open world" concept, the essence of Deus Ex in general and basically everything you've worked for?? Thanks.

I managed to watch the video too (:

The comments are odd.

Also, dont forget to add my carefully designed questions, mister Jerion!

Dear JJB:

Is there anything you or the team really wanted to include but turned out to be unfeasable?

How present is "Augmented Reality" in HR? Will we be seeing pop-up adverts in the streets, for example, or Personal Ads attached to people?
