range boost upgrade location

Hi


I have been playing this game for a while now.
But now im stuck.

I am here now :
Botanical Gardens - Glasshouse Generator Room

I am at that place where I have to kill some enemies and then
disable an electric gate. But I have to have the range upgrade to do this
because the gate is too far away and I cannot go close because then
I will get electricuted.

So did I miss the upgrade ? And if so where is it located ?
Or is the only way to start from scartch again ?
I think I have just been upgrading when it said upgrade
but I am not shure.

Is there a way I can maybe by clicking a key can bring up
the upgrades screeen because it only seems to pop up when
I get upgrades ?

Do other challenges until you get a new upgrade, its there on the upgrade choices.

I have just seen it says i have 8 upgrades in total now.

How can i change challenge ? When I look in my objectives there is only one.
How to choose another different one ?

Wait i actually do not recall where you are, try finding another way around you dont need that upgrade to beat the story.

I was following this walkthough from the net and suddenly it said u need
to bave that upgrade to get on like it was the only way out and did
not give any alternatives.
Here is a quoute from it:

Within this room, you'll see a large group of thugs harassing a poor hostage.
Start this off however you want; Batarangs, Batclaw one guy, etc. When they all
inevitably swarm you, pick your targets. You have a dagger guy and a baton guy
this time, the latter I find more important to take down. Again, if you have
most of your Combat upgrades, try to focus on using your special moves early
to limit the number of hostiles.

This is also a good time to practice building a really high combo. You can
easily get one in the upper 30's if you've been getting really good at it.
Learn to recognize the counter signs and more importantly, the red lightning
bolts which basically mean dodge (or if it's coming from a dagger guy, this can
also tell you "Stun"). Overall, these guys shouldn't provide too much of a
problem. Just watch out for them trying to pick weapons off the walls and such.

After the fight, cut the man loose and you'll talk to him for a few seconds as
Batman delivers probably one of the few weaker lines in the game. Just to the
left from him, there is an INTERVIEW tape on the computer terminal. Grab that,
then climb up to the higher platform on the west side. Climb the ladder next to
face an electric barrier. The security box is on the other side, so you'll need
the range upgrade for the Cryptographic Sequencer. Overload it and inside you
can find the Riddler's SECRETS MAP on your right in the corner. On the other
side is a RIDDLER TROPHY on a table.

You only need the upgrade if you want the Tape, otherwise just get the one on ground level, and you can move on with the story.

What shall i get in ground level ? No dont want the tape
just want to move on with the story I never listen to those tapes anyway.


MY current objective is to destroy the
Titan Production Facility so how do find it ?

Do whats in the video,forget when he climbed the ladder, there is a box on the wall on ground level you must deactivate you dont need the upgrade to do it. Its the box that looks like The Joker Decorated it thats near the hostage.

Or shall I backtrack ?

in the video ? I mean there are a lot of different rooms in the video
and the begining is with the upgrade i dont have.

So what room are u talking about here ?
Is it the boobie trapped control box u are thinking of? And how to get
to it ?

I have found a map for u so would be great if u could look at it and tell me
where in the map it is exactly .

Then you don't need a box.6:36 is where you need to go.From then on,the game is pretty self explanatory.

Hi

No not there either.

I finally found out what the problem was.
In the Archam Chambers where u can hear the joker sing
like he is taking a bath and he does the experiments on those
humans I made a mistake there in the flodded chamber or coridor.

I thought there was only one area called flodded coridor but there is 2 but
i thought it was just 1 area but no I guess not.

So I have been in the wrong flodded coridor all along.No wonder
It did not look like in the video walkthough.

I went to the other flodded coridor and then it all worked like in the
walkthough except i still dont have the range boost upgrade but I can
contunue the game now .
