Gamepad Controls??

Morning, I have a question about controls for JC2 on the PC. Are you able to use a regualr Logitech Gamepad (looks alot like a PS3 or X-BOX) device.

Started the game for the 1st time last night, but forgot to attach the wireless gampad so i'm guessing it didn't realise i'd attached it mid game. Tested the Gamepad & it works fine within Windows so am hoping it will work fine if attached prior to launching the game.

Also, what are the recommended Graphics settings? Tried the maximum yesterday for a quick look & alhtough they worked they were jerky during the Heli intro & the sound was out of sync completely. I'm running an HP Laptop with a new Intel Core i5-450M with Boost to 2.66GHz & 4GB Ram with a Windows 7 Home Prem 64-Bit O/S. Graphics is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5450 Switchable Graphics with 512MB DDR3 dedicated memory & i think a total of 1500MB+ available shared.

I got no resolution from Eidos regarding the oil-rig issue, other than to start the game again & try not to destroy any items on THAT rig during the Black Gold mission (tricky as you have to fire at the rig to destroy the tower from a Harrier Jet). It's destroying items on the rig from a distance that the game can't recognise as it doesn't realise you're in the area.
