@ EricaLeeVee: Adam is a rather sexy beast in that image!

These images aren't fan art in the traditional sense, but they do relate to my interest in DX:HR.

Back in 2009, I went on an art school field trip to the uni's anatomy labs, and spent the day drawing flayed, severed limbs. The complexity of the musculature of the arm was just incredible.

Inspired by this trip and my interest in historical costume, I drew up some concepts of 18th century styled cyborgs. I even had a story in my mind, exploring this high-tech 18th century. I thought this mixing of eras was pretty neat and original (as opposed to most standard 'steam punk' where Victoriana tech and aethsetics are pushed to the limit, this was an idea of a cyberpunk world with baroque rococo looks: high technology, not steam/magic).
These images, from 2009, are just sketches, done without reference, so they have a few problems with proportions etc.

Imagine then my excitement and dismay when I discovered the cinematic trailer for DX:HR last year: excitement because of the cyber renaissance aesthetic, and dismay because it seemed that my idea wasn't so original after all!

This is a more recent concept of my cyborg,

And this is just some real fan-art. Again, just sketches without reference, so they ain't perfect!

Isnīt it a marvel? Not only the beauty & complexity in structure, but the fact that it all comes together into something that actualy functions just baffles me.

It's not about DX:HR , it's been inspired by it.

Wow~ I wish I could do 3D rendering. Awesome job Nealus!

Learning directly from the human body itself must be a joy (I've only drawn them live and intact); you are very lucky Zoet. I like your take on cyberpunk.

No rendering, it's TES 4:Oblivion + proper story, time, photoshop and usage of model/texture resources

Thanks! It was an unforgettable experience, as prior to that I had only drawn from life and a few skeletons. It was also nowhere near as gross as I was expecting. The whole class had to sign forms to state that we understood that we might recognise one of the specimens as a friend or loved one... but thankfully no-one recognised anyone.

@ Nealus:
Nice image. one of my favourite things about it is actually the fish tank. It is such a brilliant touch as it locates it firmly within a technological age, as opposed to the the medieval time-frame of Oblivion. It actually makes me think though that more games should have fish tanks!

Two types of fish in DX1, I wonder if any in DX3. Perhaps they'll go one better with lobster.

heya. long time lurker first time poster.

Here is a man who regrets his augmentation, and has tattooed it with flowers to symbolically naturalize it. Inspired by the Purity First video!

There are some talented people about. Keep em coming, there are lots of people who appreciate it!

Oops, Ilves- I had missed these. Your work is wonderfully atmospheric, it does feel just like a still from an animation, one that I'd love to see.

Default My 3D Deus Ex HR design

Hi guys!,

I'm really a huge fan of Deus Ex series, and particulary interested and impatient on putting my hands on HR. So a while ago I saw this awesome concept art, so I couln't resist and started to work very carefully in all minimum details. However, I changed some things (like reporter name Rebecca instead of Eliza), and added other ones. A lot ot love was put in this design. I hope you guys like it!!

My tribute to Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

It was done with 3D Studio Max 2011 and After Effects for post-processing effects. Also, I'm not professional, so any feedback will be appreciated

Interesting take on the concept art. You use somewhat of a different design focus here, exchanging a little bit of the aged, gritty look for a new, semi-futuristic look. It's faithful to the source and to some extent, easy to recognize your version as a "then-just-recently-furbished" version of same.

Also, nice touch with the display UI.

Yeah, my main goal was to be faithful to the wonderful concept without distorting it, but also giving personal touches to it, with a more objective view of what I would like to be a possible near future, but without changing any concept art identities like the wonderful orange lighting feature, for an example. I'm certanly very proud of this design, and took me several weeks of work and dedication. I'm glad you like it

Cool, really like that idea. I guess with an augmentation theres a whole bunch of things on the cosmetic side of things you could do with it.

I've edited a few posts now. Please, remember to use Thumbnail tags for these exceptionally large images.

@axl: Nice! I like it. Nice multilayered composition and use of color. Lighting on Adam seems a little flat, but it kinda works.

If you view those images as though they were a stereoscopic image, (crossing your eyes to merge them in the middle) it creates an interesting effect with the lighting and Nano-tattoos on Paul. - requires a wide enough screen that the forum doesn't stack them vertically of course.

Hahaha it wasn't planned, but you know, maybe I could change the lightning to suit your taste!

So, sign here, here, and... there. That's it. Wow, that's a very nice ammount of money, very kind of you!

The art is really coming, it's amazing.

This took some drawing skills...

Adam has been punching walls again, here's a test version of the Detroit sewers map up on "Otherworld" Multiplayer server...

He punches quite a few...
