Giantbomb review says Xbox has issues with freezing

This is a quote I took from the review page that the 360 version has freezing issues after 10 hours of gameplay. I am a 360 gamer, I hope this problem gets fixed fast.

"While the console versions of Kane & Lynch 2 seem to be on-par, I experienced a fairly crippling issue with the Xbox 360 version of the game after spending around 10 hours with it. It seems that some sort of profile or save game-related issue causes the game to completely seize up for a few seconds when you kill someone, often with a shotgun or via the game's human shield mechanic. I'm no QA guy, so I won't try to speculate too much about what's going on, and perhaps it's not the sort of thing that will happen to every single Xbox 360 owner, but it happened here on multiple machines. We've got footage of it occurring in our video review. It's pretty terrible. If you're looking at buying the Xbox 360 version of the game, you might want to wait for a patch or two. No such issues occurred in the PlayStation 3 version of the game."

because me and a friend played co-op and beat the game but never had any freezing problems.

sadly its not lying. my game froze 4-5 times and had to restart xbox. and there were 2-3 frozes the game reloaded the chapter itself.

and after those freezes the same thing giantbomb mentioned happened to me. Every time i get a headshot with a shotgun, use humanshield, or blow up a gas canister there was a 1 sec freeze.
hope this gets fixed asap.

I hope the devs read this thread and are already aware of this situation and fixing the problem because this is a game breaking issues. The game is already underrated and an underdog as it is. This wont help sell more copies if it also has freezes and hiccups within the game.

The patch for PS3, I believe was to fix some bugs and what not. The online didn't freeze on me yet.

Looks like freezing is a common issue with the 360 version. Patch should be out soon I hope.

I only had two problems,when i shot the propane tanks the game froze for 5 seconds but was fine after then at the boat docks area it did the same but all is fine.great game

just got this game on 360, after i press start from the title screen, nothing...even multi, hope they fix this. This is the games opening day? not good. I have 360 elite, with 250 hard drive.

I never had freezing, I had lag when I blew up large stuff but no freezing. And this was on a continuous playthrough on extreme. Never turned off my xbox.

I played the demo just fine and had no problems with freezing. Now with the PS3, when I played multiplayer and the session ended, it would freeze every single time. That is why I am not getting it on the PS3; I really hope I did not make a mistake here. That would suck. The demo of the PS3 freezes, but not the full version - just the Xbox 360 full version.

Now I am a bit worried...I am confident, however, that they can address the issues...

Can everyone state what Xbox 360 they are using (Elite, Regular, Arcade) and what type of harddrive?

Any information on systems, harddrive space, etc, would be appreciated on this. We've not encountered anything like this during our testing or Microsoft's testing so it's quite frankly a little baffling that this is happening. QA is investigating but any help is much appreciated.

i have a 120gb xbox 360 elite.
everything was fine for the first hour but in co-op when i got a human shield xbox got froze and then time same thing all over again like 4 times. even the chopper got stuck in the air in that chapter.
After these frozes, the thing in the giantbomb video started to happen.. those short frozes when a headshot with a shotgun,blow up a gas canister that thing is happening to me. But only in SP.

I have the original version of an Xbox 360 with a 120 GB harddrive. The freezing, which was about 2 seconds the first time and 5 seconds the second time happened in the following spots respectively: Blowing up the cafe in the fourth level and blowing up a gas canister in the 6th level. Just in case anyone is thinking this, the freezing at the cafe was not part of the effect, the effect happened immediately after the freeze.

I've been playing split screen co op on my 120 gb ps3. The game has frozen six or seven times since yesterday. I downloaded the patch during initial setup and I'm still getting the problem. I called square enix about it and they told me to try and switch out the disc, so I thought I'd let it be known on here.

Yeah seems to have freezing issues as well as issues with quick match joining a game, where it will put you in a lobby where nobody can join.

I get the intermittent freezing issue too (plus game lockups needed a resetting of the console in a few online games)

In single player, if I get a headshot on someone, the game will pause for about 2-3 seconds and the pad will vibrate for that duration before carrying on as normal. This also happens sometimes when there's explosions from cannisters in the scene. This freezing does not happen when playing multiplayer games.

I have the xbox 360 slim 250gb version
