A simple and little mouse lag problem

I was digging through my old games and decided to replay Project Snowblind, since I dont recall finishing it. I installed it on my new laptop, and the game looks good and runs smooth, but there is a little mouse lag. Not a huge problem by any means, but i thought maybe someone knew how to fix this....any luck????
