Default Catwoman

For starters i don't want this thread to start a fight. This is nothing but a silly question.

Since Batman: Arkham Asylums as been out people were very excited about it, but when word spread out that the Joker is an exclusive playable character for the PS3 some fans were disappointed, however they were still happy they got to play as the caped crusader. Now remember there was a lot more talk about The Joker and Batman then any other charater.

Now we Have Batman: Arkham City and we see Catwoman. I know that nothing much has been said, but who knows. Do you think Catwoman will also be an exclusive for PS3? Now remember PS3 owns the right for DC so they can do whatever they want. As far as i read it seems that there will be a lot of talk about catwoman, twoface, and Batman... maybe the joker... more than anyone else.

post your thoughts and please no fighting...remember the game is still in development and I was just wondering...

the same way Joker could be an exclusive, yet he was very much a part of the story. They simply made maps for him to do his thing, separate from the story. They didn't announce Joker was a playable exclusive until far later in development, also.

In short: it's possible. Do I care? No. I play on PC lol

Yes thats what I mean. I personally don't care, but what I'm saying is its possible. But I really think The 360 should also get an exclusive also this time around. Even if we get Joker they get Joker this time or even two face.

Oh lol, well i hope not i really hated that. I am sick of all this exclusive stuff for games that are on both consoles it's a very cheap way of selling a console and really angers us fans of the series.

Agreed. But now that we're brainstorming how about some Soul Calibur 4 Yoda-Vader style exclusives. PS3 users get Robin or Nightwing as the 2nd character and Xbox(PC) users get the other one

Or each version (PS3, Xbox, PC) features a different story villain seen in the end of the game (Scarecrow, Bane, Croc) plus has a challenge map.

Or somehow use the divided personality of Two Face like Dark and Light. PS3 gets one and Xbox the other

All cheap yet interesting options. I'd still hope you're able to "import" AA save Mass Effect style with the last villain appearance deciding who will you face in AC.

Without even knowing what it would be like? but I have to agree it doesn't sound as interesting

Maybe light Harvey's Challenge would be to escape a courthouse overrun by thugs. He'd have to use stealth and only basic combat. Dark Two Face would solve the issue by shooting and killing everyone. Well I don't know if it would be that bad if the only difference was that one uses lethal force and the other doesn't

No exclusive stuff, please. All it does is just anger the people who don't have access to it.

I don't care if 360 or PS3 get exclusives, since I have both. I'll just buy it on both, if I have to.

Definitely getting a CE in there somewhere, though.

On topic: Very possible someone gets Catwoman in a challenge room set.

So do I, but I'm still against platform exclusives.

But if one platform does get an exclusive, why not PC? There's not enough PC love in the industry these days.

Boy you really don't like Microsoft do you?

....anyways. Exclusives are really starting to get old. Yes I have a 360, a PS3 and a killer PC, but does that mean I want to own 3 copies of the same game so I have access to all of the 'exclusive' content? Hell no. I bought 2 copies (PS3 and PC) of Arkham Asylum but that was only because I wanted to see how awesome the PhysX stuff was on the PC version. I originally had it for PS3. The fact that Sony has DC universe exclusivity really makes for a terrible shadow to be cast over this argument. It's likely that there will be exclusive content, but that's not why I buy the game.

Exclusive content is just the perfect way for manufacturers and game developers to fuel the console war, which I have absolutely no interest in. I mostly play games on PS3, but I like trophies over achievements. I still buy games for my 360 though (I've preordered Kinect), both systems are top-notch

Well, Now Microsoft knows how big the Arkham series is, i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt try and make some DLC exclusive to their console.

Think Microsoft seriously underestimated how well BAA was going to do.

If there was Xbox exclusive content, we'd still have to pay for it. This is Microsoft, after all.

^ Maybe MoneySoft will let you download a Master Chief skin for in-game use?

Credit cards. They work like magic. Gas not necessary either.

Why can't Microsoft and Sony be friends?

But in all seriousness, if they have Catwoman challenge maps, they should be on both consoles. I HATE exclusives! You know it really broke my heart when my little cousin cried because he has a 360 and couldn't play as his favorite villain of all time.
