Default Tomb raider underworld

hello i just bought TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD but i'm about to return it because im not able to play it which really pisses me off when i first installed it the program keeps saying i needed to install DIRECT X 3 D what to hell is direct x 3D? i tried finding the program online, thought i found it tried to install it but it didnt work, so someone suggested that i try installing DIRECT X 9 so i did that the game still would'nt run which made me angry even more, even if i do need this program called DIRECT X 3 D should'nt the program be on the disk? because after all TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD is a new game, if you advertise something it should work with no problems ive played other tomb raider games on my system and they work fine. im just pissed off because I CANT play TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD on my system and im missing out, PLEASE! can i talk someone from EIDOS. highlander20816@yahoo.com thanks --- MIKE

If you are running Windows XP or up everything you need to play is on the disk. Please post your system specifications using DXDiag as described here: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=81793

Also check if your system meets the minimum requirements. http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=81348
