New Game

I've finally been able to get all the trophies except the ones for beating the game on the harder difficulties. So my question is, if you start a new game will all of your manual saves go away?

yeah, good job. I hope to be at that point sometime in the future but I'm at 59% complete and a few other trophies not completed as well. Question to those who know: is it safe to assume playing on hardest difficulty will earn you both the trophies for "hard" and "hardest" - I'm playing on Normal now. - Thanks.
