I'm having difficulty deciding where to pre-order the game. (For the United States)

Amazon has a $10 off a future video game purchase coupon along with a (presumably digital) graphic novel and a purple KALININGRAD 47.

Gamestop has a multiplayer map (Radio Tower) and three guns (Doretta handgun with silencer, US-standard Steel 780 shotgun, and TOQ SBR submachine gun)

Also, I've heard all sorts of weird stuff like "Chinese Costume Masks" as a pre-order bonus but I haven't seen them anywhere.
What do you guys think? Which would you get? (and if anyone knows about those Chinese Costume Masks, please share your brain knowledge)

This is weird and convoluted. So Amazon has a unique gun, Best Buy has some Masks and a few guns, Gamestop has a Map and a few guns.

I've read reports on sites that list all of these items as a single pack.

Is there any one store that has every single pre-order bonus?

If not, I think I'll stick with Amazon for their $10 off my next purchase and hope all these bonus items become cheap DLC.

Yeah the whole Limited Edition that EU gets is all split in the US.
It sucks but what can you do? I'm sure the guns + map will eventually be on PSN or XBL fair amount of price.

Depends. It won't work on a 360 cause of the region code but it might work on a PS3 and I don't know if PC games are region coded at all.

However, keep in mind that all the DLCs and what not you will also purchase from UK as it won't match the game with US DLC.

Well I'm on PC and there wouldn't be region coding. Steam only uses the region stuff if they want to limit sales. As for DLC, being downloadable content means the region I purchase from isn't a big deal.

On a PC maybe the DLC doesn't have a region coding, but in case it was a PS3 game, that would be a different story.

you sure about that?their website still says you get the Greed,Betrayal,& Revenge pack,including the Doretta Silenced,Steel 780 Shotgun,and TOQ SBR sub machine gun but the other guns and masks are not included

Yeah, that's all you get in US. It really sucks how the limited edition got split up between retails.

Here`s my 2 cent worth of story...and its based on a real story:

DONT PRE-ORDER IN DENMARK ;-)

The last game i Pre-order was Borderlands, and i was a happy person !! - I pre-ordered at COOLSHOP - the cheapest place online to buy games in denmark, now im not sure on the numbers here - but i pre-ordred with a price around 500 danish kr.

So as i understand it, pre-ordering a game is a good game for the company, they know more precise how many games they can get, it also lets you be sure, that your are getting is first hand, - witch never has been a problem in denmark with any game yet..

I pre-ordred like half a year before, and a few days before the games comes out i look at the online shop, theres Bordersland at the price of 400 danish kr. - Nice i think, and i should tell you that coolshop has a prize garanty, they are always going to match any other cheaper prize in denmark.

So i get my game, finding out i payed 500 danish kr. instead of the listed price af 400 kr. ???

I called Coolshop and asked, why i payed 500 instead of 400, this is the reason i got, in my own words

By pre-ordering my game, they where able to order a larger quantity, and later on when they order more, they got the game at an even lower prize...
So buy ordering more, and more games, they where able to get the game cheaper, but because i was among the first batch i had to pay the higher prize, they payed for the first batch....instead of the lower prize, witch i could have payed if i did not pre-order

I complained a little, and i was told that i could send the game back, get another copy and they would send it to me for the lower prize, but standing with game in hand, i was not going to wait a week for that....

Never pre-order in denmark ,its just not worth it...

i pre ordered from amazon mostly because i had $30 in amazon credit. so half price for K&L2 with a $10 game credit, gun code and comic. cant really beat that.

Or whether the bonus map,weapons and masks will be available as DLC

I've been wanting to pre-order the Limited Edition but want to wait for reviews.


Will be playing on the PC so is there going to be any dedicated servers?


Should also note i'm in the UK so the pre-order bonus should include all of it, unlike it being split in the US
