How to get xbox 360 pad to work with PC version ?

Hello, How do I get an xbox 360 pad to work with JC2 on PC ?

I have plugged it in to front of PC and ran windows updates which installed something to do with the pad. Ran the game but its not working.
What I am missing ?

Running Windows 7.

Scrap that. Had a driver issue. Problem solved.
