Default Random things happening, post yours!

While playing Just Cause 2, it's hard not to notice random things happening around you. So... Post yours! What happened, how did you respond, what was the aftermath, etc...

- I started over on Casual, so I could play around more and I decided that if I just did the missions, I would have enough chaos and resources to upgrade all weapons and leave all the bases intact, so I could blow them up and load if I wanted to do it again. Though, in my attempts to leave the structures unharmed, the AI always found ways to ruin it for me.

As a helicopter chased me, it blew up a broadcast tower and a water tower. A grenade blew a generator to bits, a jeep which got hit by my cluster bomb launcher caused two gas pumps to explode and then there's the best one: Because I wanted to do a faction mission close to a Militairy base, I extracted there. In the middle was an enormous radio mast. As I fell to the ground, a plane flew by and cut the wires, DESTROYING the radio mast! And guess what, I was blamed by the militairy! (First I was amazed at how the plane survived, because whenever I try to cut wires with planes, my plane just explodes)

- While doing the Three Kings mission, a plane crashes into one of the towers.

- While slingshotting my way to a fuel station for health, I saw a civilian on a scooter standing there, doing nothing. Out of nothing, the scooter exploded, sending said civilian flying.

- While attracting heat, you will occasionally witness a soldier flying by. This is because he is on a bike and rides into traffic.

- While stealing a car in the city, the soldiers became angry and began chasing me. They were on a higher level and decided to jump down so they could hit me. Instead of jumping down normally, it appeared as if they were BASE jumping.

- While attacking a base on foot, a helicopter got called in and attacked with rockets. They sent me flying, off a mountain... And I kept on rolling and rolling, unable to stop

- As I was flying in my "playing around mode" with the DragonFly, I decided it would be funny to fly that thing upside down under a bridge. I went to find a bridge by flying real low, but couldn't see any. Suddently, out of nothing a big black bridge spawned in front of me. I had one second to respond and I turned upside down, thinking I would make it. Then, the big arcs spawned underneath the bridge, making me meet my inevitable death.

I can't think of more right now, please post yours

lol, that smacking in to a bridge thing reminds me of something; I tethered a car to a windmill at the racetrack and as it was launched up into the sky, it hit another windmill, destroying it

Also, tethering the shark fin to a maverick **Whut, maverick? I mean Rowlinson K22** can cause funny moments! Rowlinson K22 doing backflips and all kinds of Evil Knievel stuff.

Still beats the hell out of the IcutmyballsandI'masore* mod you use. Grow some pubes kid. Not everybody has to like your damn vid which shows 0 creativity.

And now let's discuss my mods. WTF is airzooka or super tuk tuk hook or money hook? Multiple rope mod? You must be blind. If I used that, how did I unhook the tuk tuk you noob? Sure I used black market mod, strong rope, infinite ammo and god mode but who cares? After you finish the game 3 times you only play it for fun dumbass.

I've got a random thing that keeps happening. I keep getting the little blue trophy icon next to "Total Kills" or whatever it is and it just randomly increases. Like, I can just be driving/flying around casually and suddenly a point gets added to the death toll. What's with that?? Is it just a random C4 I placed earlier on and completely forgot about? Or a car randomly exploding, that I have recently driven? Like I say, it can sometimes happen when I'm flying, so this doesn't seem to be the case. So that the is it? Also I get the statues randomly destroying themselves, but I hear this is common. God knows why?

And this is a collection of random stuff that happened to me.

Hmm, time to dig around in my memory and pick out a few...

1. During the 'Stop the Press' mission for the Roaches, I decided that I wanted the Winstons Amen 69 the journalist was escaping in, so I hopped over, ripped the gunners out of their positions and then hijacked the boat from the journalist...but I saw a gunboat coming up behind me, which proceeded to smash into the journalist at top speed, killing him and completing the mission for me. I then proceeded to escape with his boat and go pick up some Black Boxes for Madame Santosi.

2. Yesterday, I decided to complete every military base on the same island as the Wajah Ramah Fortress (except the Fortress itself, I'm saving that for later), and found some silly stuff happening around those bio shafts. One time I managed to get down into the depths of one, blow it up with everybody inside, and then get out, only to find that a helicopter had been spawned. I couldn't find it in the area around the shaft or around the rest of the base, but could still hear it. Its icon made it look like it was hovering above the shaft, but then I looked at the SAM site that I'd just blown up before entering the shaft and I found the chopper stuck in the wall on its side, still trying to get out, the soldiers looking as calm as cucumbers. When I approached, the helicopter freed itself and flipped so that it was upside down...then it caught fire and exploded, killing the pilot and passenger.

3. I remember once in the Lautan Lama Desert, in the middle of a pursuit, I stole a Hamaya GSY 650 from a military dude, only for him to get run over by a pair of military soldiers in their Wilforce Range X. Just a pity teamkilling isn't punished in the Panauan Military.

4. Sometimes, I wish I had Auto-Capture on all the time. I was completing villages in the Selatan Archipelago with my trusty Niseco Coastal D22 when I decided to have a bit of a high-speed rampage...I ended up going off-road in the Coastal and doing a BARREL ROLL through the jungle, landing on all-four wheels just outside of a small village on the coast. To this day, I've never been able to replicate it.

5. You know that little movie they show on the PS3 when you leave the cursor hovering over the Just Cause 2 icon in the 'Game' section of the XMB, where Rico's clinging to a chopper while his other one smashes into the one he's hijacking? Well, I almost replicated that on the same island as the Wajah Ramah Fortress, when two military choppers attacked me. I hopped onto one and managed to hijack the chopper after head-shotting the pilot and escort, then flew towards the other chopper, which had retreated slightly. the bullets from that chopper's miniguns shot me down, and I stunt jumped and grappled to the offending chopper only to get slammed by the chopper I just abandoned on its way down, sending the escort on the chopper I was then trying to hijack flying out to his death. Thank goodness I didn't have any more problems with destroying the base after that.

Yep, that's all I can think of....FOR NOW!

When finishing my third playthrough (on casual this time) I respawned at Karl Blaines house. As I got full ammo, I got in the Pumtuck Nomad in front of me. As I drove out, it appeared as if another Pumtuck Nomad was inside mine and stayed put, though when I tried to get that one, I could walk through it.

Draco reminded me: When attacking a fuel shaft, one of the walls was rocky desert mountain like... which looked really weird there.I could still use the medkit behind it though.

While trying to get the Winstons Amen 69 at the Oil Rig near the Internation Airfield (so I could tie it to a Boeing), I flew around in a cargo helicopter to look at its spawn point. It was not there. I decided to jump down and swim towards it, to check if it would spawn. It came rising up from the depths...???
Another time, there were two Winstons spawned on top of each other. It looked as if they were mating.

While trying to find a Bering from the jungle island base, I tied a Ular Boy car to it with me in the car. I decided to stunt jump onto the car as it was relatively stable. Rico stood on it, but the tether broke. The car fell and Rico couldn't hold on, falling like an idiot. He was in freefall position but couldn't pull the chute. He fell to his death, with me laughing hard.

later I got the Bering at the same airport and flew it to the city (park district). There is a colonel there. I hit the right building, but sadly he lived I aimed the plane a bit too low. The explosion is huuuuge!

That thing with the people frozen in that stance happened to me in a military base. I then proceeded to blow up both pipelines and no one moved . It returned to normal the next time i turned on my xbox360.

I was doing the mission where you have to defend the radio thing from helicopters on the building. And a civilian airplane just flies right into the side of the building.
