Save directory

Hi

I've been trying to play Deus Ex 2 all morning, and when I press New Game, it tells me there is not enough free space. I have 100gb free. I think the problem is that it is trying to save to My Documents, which is actually on a network; which is down (therefore it thinks there's no space). I don't want it saving there anyway, so can someone please tell me how to change the save directory - I've looked in all the config files and cannot find a way. I even emailed Eidos support and they're useless, not even answering my question. Thanks.
