I got it! Wait, it says it's already been activated??

HELP!!! It says duplicate product code, even though I got it first! What's up?

Nah, that didn't work either. And I was DEFINITELY first that time.
Actually, maybe it's because I'm on a Mac! Didn't think of that! I still should've been able to download the file and transferred it to my pc, though.

No, he's only saying what probably happened. People visit the forum and type in the code. They don't have to be logged on so they might not even be members. They just didn't post that they used the codes.

Who asks for the product key?

If you purchased at a retail store, the product key should be in the case somewhere. If you purchased from Steam, the product key is not needed, but can be found by right clicking the game in your game list and selecting "View Game CD Key"
