Cool CHEATS!!!??? review-rant-optinion-roast-plead for help

Okay - so let me start out by saying JC2 is my 2nd favorite game, errr. 3rd favorite - forgot about tiger woods golf... but yeah GTA is still # 1 for all around sandbox style game play

I think we all know the pro's of this game - huge map - plenty of weapons - transportation

now with each of those pro's unfortunately there are cons...

Map - huge map - GREAT! - Getting around ummm - can I get a Firebolt 6 Jet plane? sure.. that will be 30,000 dollars... cheat please? WHY DO I HAVE TO SPEND TIME DOING MISSIONS/RACES SO I CAN GET ENOUGH CASH TO BUY A PLANE THAT I WILL JUST TAKE ME WHERE I WANT TO GO ON THIS HUGE AMAZING MAP - not to mention, since the controls are kinda iffy I'll most likely have to crash land anyways TO avoid a possible death when landing so i dont have to start at the same checkpoint 20km away and start the whole long irritating/expensive process over again -Yeah infinite money cheat is NEEDED above all things.

weapons - everyones got one - but if you need more ammo your gonna need once again $$$ - so go do 5 races and buy 1 RPG - thx hun.

transportation - Sooo much to use - so little time - GREATNESSS

Cars - I like, they fast... like need for speed underground - until you have to use the steering wheel and make a sharp turn - then your sideways -

Airplanes - flying in the jets -except for the G9 (big fighterjet) is my favorite way of getting around - using the weaponry is another story - if think the controls on most the aircraft is just plane frustrating and painful - and using them for attacks is just quantified

Helicopters - by far the most useful method of kicking ass - targeting system can use some work but im quite satisfied - speed? yeah.... need some mo'

Boats - no complains here - think they are the most solid all around as far a controls go

The ol' grapple hook

So... It can comfortably attach an army hummer to the back of a passenger jet accelerating from 0 - 320km in 10 sec and never break - yet hooking two automobiles together to pull them can become a quick problem - I thank whoever discovered the "LDT" atleast once in a while i can pull off some dumb ass funny

This grapple - "tieing device" can by far be the most creative instrument for continuos happy replay value in the game - yet it fails to meet those possible standards - NEED UNBREAKABLE GRAPPLE CHEAT ASAP!

Navigation - the mini map needs to actually show you where you are needing to go on the roads - right now its useless

Targeting system

Person - sometimes i really cant tell who is the next person i need to shoot - GTA style would be pleasureful -

Car - Rico can do black flips from plane to plane - but an east la style drive by is not included. why?

Plane - I usually just crash the jet fighter into the target opposed to using the actual on board rockets because targeting is just that bad

Stunt - I saw this anatomy of a stunt video where they do a loop d loop under a bridge then crash the airplane directly on a soldier... Has anyone tried that? I hope im not the only one that found that painstakingly difficult - Aiming here is virtually non-existent, Id say it comes down to luck

Camera - Great effects guys! its almost like a bond movie - Now if i could only see the explosions for more then 2 angles - this was just a waste to create such an action game and not be able to live through the situation - your always lookin a ricos ass no matter what.

Anywho, Im sure everyone has noticed some bugs and clipping and such but with a game this size with this much detail that stuff hardly bothers me. I think what its missing is truely a core controls aspect... anyone ever play prototype? Good right? once you played it for a month you could take down a fleet of armada without breaking a sweat - well rico should be able to do the same and more

Sorry to any hardcore fans out there if I roasted your video game a little bit, but i think an honest opinion is favorable to all

SO IF ANY DEVELOPERS READ THIS....

PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE W/ CHERRIES ON TOP

MONEY CHEAT & UNBREAKABLE GRAPPLE CHEAT - and Ill be playing this video game till you come out with JC3 and buying all the downloadable content cause you know i need that . - Ill even consider giving it a spot on my shelf next to GTA 4

And I do commend you on making the most realistic/beautiful map of any video game ever.

PS - Any way of getting hot air ballon past 6.5km without it starting to shake and exploding?

why you would need the money cheat is beyond me, i have only done 3 races in my entire playthrough of JC2 and i have 1.4 million dollars to spend on what i like, it seems people don't realise you actually get money for destroying stuff, and a lot of the stuff on the market you can teleport yourself to its free location for FREE.

as for plane targeting, you just suck at aiming,

when you talk about this game STOP COMPARING EVERY SINGLE THING TO GTA

"Person - sometimes i really cant tell who is the next person i need to shoot - GTA style would be pleasureful -"
That is a load of bull, Just shoot at people ffs, u are 90% of the time using an automatic weapon. So just spray at people for god sake and stop complaining you dont know who to shoot

Oh and also. L2P PC noob and download BOLOpatch, all of the cheats you want above. And if ur an Xbox fanboy or a PS3 user. That is your own fault, they wont just put cheats into the game because u want to spoil it for yourself because you cant be bothered to play through the game and unlock money the proper way, which is blowing stuff up. Which is the main objective of JC2

Some of us have played through without a single cheat, I will admit on my first play through I used the strong rope from the Bolopatch, in my present play through I'm using strong rope and unlimited ammo, so far this has not spoiled my game, I'm having a blast, cheats in games like this only spoil it for hardcore players, but not everyone is a hardcore player.

cheats add life to a game like this imo.. not that it's hard and you need cheats to get through it, but that it gets boring quickly and cheats add re-playability and entertainment..

I kind of wish I could have at cheat that would make the enemies invisible again.

I had a glitch in one of the military bases by the waterside and all the enemies spawning were invisible except for their weapons and the enemies with vests their vest textures were loading but nothing else.

So all around me were non vest guys (just weapons floating) and vested guys (floating vests and weapons) shooting me from all angles. The incoming helicopter pilots were invisible as well when I hi-jacked them..ROFL... it's quite funny to see Rico punching a ghost.

I know Crackdown incorporated some of the glitches into actual game features later on (although my memory is foggy as to exactly what they were), but I do remember them talking about making some of the glitches , bugs , what have you ,into actual game features.

It's quite possible the folks at Avalanche could think about keeping some of the kool glitches. I hope so , they have mad quite possible one of my favorite sandbox games of all time.

I'd also like to have a toggle for the
where I could have all incoming enemies spawn as (see spoiler).

While they are easy to kill they were fun while they lasted.

I'd also love a weather toggle, I can use the MHC time glitch, but it's hard to keep it raining forever, somehow keeping it raining forever is hard to do with the MHC time glitch.

I did manage to get sunset locked for my entire play-through and I use nighttime lock mode to explore Panau city, the skyscrapers look fantastic at night with all the lights. It stays 3am forever (until you power off your console-or leave to another climate zone) in Panau city using the Mile High Club extraction glitch.

I understand the OP's frustration and hope the developers take into consideration , I'm sure they have.

Quite frankly I'm just glad we received a second game, I remember getting the 1st game and most of my game pals scoffed at me, but now all are converts of the grapple-nation.
Thank You Eidos , usually when things are all bad people tend to make a thread about it, and when things are all good people don't feel the need to log in make an account say how awesome the game is, they figure they developers have their best interest at heart and don't need to comment.

So I'd like to be a voice of positivity and say this is one hell of a game Avalanche.

I remember back when cheats where found in the back of your favorite gaming magazine and you input them into your controller, UP UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT CIRCLE CIRCLE SQUARE, or SQUARE SQUARE CIRCLE R1 DOWN DOWN X. And your friends would call you a punk and less kinder things if they found out you where using them. How times have changed, now we demand them and need the ability to simply turn them off and on at will. A game like JC2 being so open world chaos based I can definitely see where having "cheats" would make for some fun scenarios. I just personally have never thought while playing the game I need a cheat so I can do (fill in the blank). Infinite life? I don't die that often to really need it, Infinite ammo? Would be great for some weapons but on some I seem to almost already have unlimited as there seems to be a steady supply for me to pick up from downed bad guys. A "cheat" allowing you to carry more weapons at a time might be cool. Infinite breath holding underwater maybe?

To resume your game? Is this a development thing?

Why is there no GameShark for the 360? With codes for cheats that don't even exist by the developers?
Man I used to love using that on my PS2.

NO cheats? No problem go online and get the latest gameshark code

I bet it has to do with MS lock on its platform, something like the GameShark may be a nightmare for MP Live games.

cheats are most likely taken out in current gen games due to trophy's and achievements. but you could always do what GTA would do, and lock them as soon as you enter a cheat...

no. in the early days, when there were no memorycards to save your game progression to, you had to enter a long code whenever you start the game in order resume where you left off

the code represented a "save state", a calculation of which levels you've completed

every time you completed another level, you'd get a new code which you had to write down

Rofl, "Worms" and "Worms 2" were some of these games. In fact, in Worms 2 there were no impossible codes to remember, in the end if you wrote all the codes down you got to read a story.

I remember a few mission codes:
"onceupona"
''timetherewere"
''somesmallworms''

The game at times is tough " BUT" i used to use cheats in the past but try not to now as it ruins the game.

Try a little harder as it will pay off.

I remember putting in Pokes and owning a game cart for my Commodore 64.

JC2 is probably the best i have played in a while.

hmmmm strange, I don't ever remember having to do that. My first console was Atari 2600, then the original NES, then came Sega Genisis, 3DO, Playstation, N64, Dreamcast, then PS2 and now PS3. I never did much PC gaming until the mid 90's so maybe I just got lucky and missed the crazy code input save. Either that or it was way before my time, which with as old as I am that would have to make you really old Driber.

Hehe, I think you probably just missed it then. I'm not older than you if you consider yourself old

Rayman had it, which was released in 1995.
And Worms 2 (which also has it, according to patrickownzya) was released in 1998.

I remember Rayman. Wow from the days of Rayman to JC2, we have come a long way, haven't we?

as for plane targeting, you just suck at aiming,

I just tried to express some opinions here...clearly thats a realization that only some understand without the need to taunt.

but thanks for your petty video game fiend feedback.

Game needs some tweaking, and you need to settle yourself
