Multi-lock Rocket Launcher Help

What is the best way to use this? I try to aim at four different targets so there is an aiming thing above each one, but a lot of the time four rockets do not fire, or multiple ones go to the same target. Am I doing something wrong? If so, what is the best way to use it? How do you guys use it?

I don't use it on the tall fuel towers because the auto-targeting mechanism tries to hit the base which is protected by concrete. However, it is great fun to use it on places like the gas stations, and especially useful when the enemy attack you. To use it, I hold the fire button and sweep the cross hair across the targets to "paint them", then release and off the rockets go. Here's a short video:

Thanks man, that helped a lot! I guess I'll have to line up my targets first, rather than just wildly firing at stuff.

Don't fire it at a water tower - it'll just fire at the base for no reason, very annoying

My pleasure - I had the same difficulty when I first tried the launcher. I must say though, that I'm a bit disappointed that there are targets that you can't hit unless you are at the right angle (from above)

Yeah, I tend to try and find a high vantage point now and rain destruction. It gives it a sense of epicness, even if it is a little annoying.

i don't like it now, we really need a damn patch instead of DLC
well i would prefer the air propulsion gun over a patch now but still we need a patch!
