Well it depends on where your landing lol

If your on Xbox then you hold the Left Trigger to slow the plane down, you can't land if your going too fast you can only land if you slow down first or else you will explode.

I don't know the co-ord but the Lost Island is the big island in the very top left corner of the map.

"Tips on driving the boeing"
You fly a boeing not drive

the lost island is the top left one and the airplane that crashed is on the coast

You have to be low and slow down so that the landing gear appears. Don't slow so much that the plane plummets to the ground. You have to approach the landing strip in a very low angle. So approach it from far away, keeping the plane not much higher than the sea level if you land to Panau International Airport. After contact, brake.

If you take a Boeing you better should land on the Panau International Airport from where the Boeing is coming. That's the best landing post anyways an Military Aiport is also good but you'll get SAM's behind you.

I guess in a game that's unrealistic it's acceptable, but after landing boeings in FlightX I find landing them in this game to be a little irritating, once on approach you have to hold down ctrl while at the same time adjust pitch and roll, I would have preferred it if you only had to press ctrl until approach speed was obtained, then all you have to concern yourself with is pitch and roll, the next time you press ctrl is on touch down to bring the plane to a halt, but that's just me, never been much good at using my little pinky while trying to press other keys.

Its pretty easy to figure out, no one here is gonna drop any directions that will make you say Oh thats how?! 4 control buttons and 2 throttles. Prettttttttty easy.

Slow down and lower plane when coming up to large runway, keep the plane going down slightly but as straight as possible, keep speed down then hold the brakes as soon as you touch the runway

I forgot, you also have to make sure you land on the rear wheels, if you land on the front wheels you'll most likely blow the plane up.

Just approach slow, lift up before you touch down and make sure the rear wheels touch the ground first. Do that and you should have a smooth landing. Unless your planning on landing in a forest or something.

I've done that. I was trying to land the Bering at the airport. I landed and turned left into the foresty bit and I just left the plane sitting there.

I've done it with a G9 Eclipse. That thing is so strong, if you clip a tree on takeoff or landing it almost never blows up.

make sure to keep the nose of the plane up slightly so you touch down on the wheels, otherwise, BAM!

You jump out and watch the plane plough down through 300 civilians as you glide down care free.

But seriously, gently "tilt" left and right to adjust your course from a distance to a suitable landing space, slow down and fly low until the wheels emerge, keep holding slow down and touch the ground, brake, enjoy a cool Panau beverage.

Also one does not simply find the lost island, the lost island finds you.
