Default Buying Vehicles

I don't know if i am just incredibly stupid or if it's just a strange feature - but buying vehicles? What's the point when you don't get to keep them in a garage of some sort? I mean they are scattered all over the place anyways.
I've only unlocked 3 territories so far though so maybe it's because I'm missing something.

Any ideas? :S

I've looked alot of them up (Not all of them though) but it seems to me that atleast 7 of them are in-game, and haven't looked for any of the others yet.

Funny, I was just thinking about this, I rarely touch the black market despite having nearly a million dollars and lots of black market stuff available, I get my weapons and ammo by standing around busy areas, sooner a later a dumb faction enters the area and gets into a fight with soldiers, I stand by while the body count rises then I collect the dropped items, as for vehicals, I might once in a while treat myself to a Rowlison or that strange looking power boat, 99% of the time I steal the vehicals, and it does get annoying when you have paid some wad knowing full well you cannot leave the vehical in a safe place, try it, leave the vehical in a safe area like a faction strong hold, it won't be there when you get back.

I buy weapons if I'm really short on ammo and I'm just about to embark on a mission. That's... pretty much the only time I do, though. Vehicles are sort of a special treat for when I feel like dicking around town in a tank for a while, or I just want to go absurdly fast without searching high and low for a nice car. It's just like a neat little perk you can go for now and then. Personally, I have more money than I know what to do with, and I haven't finished the game yet, so even if I did it a lot, I'd still probably be rolling in it.

I guess it's just one of those design choices. A garage would be kind of cool, though.

Yeah, losing vehicles sucks. I bought that powerboat but accidentally let it be dropped on a beach instead of in the water. I went looking for another boat to tow in the one on the beach, but when I got back it was gone. Stolen I guess :P

One of the main reasons the black market stuff is so cheap vs how fast you earn money, is to make for a more reasonable play experience. I mean, when you really sit back and thing about it... the stuff you'll likely use for just dinking around - ie no weapons - is pretty cheap, yet effective. The bigger items are more expensive, but when you have 4 mill +, you REALLY have to work hard to lose all that money. Not that it isn't possible, just that it's difficult =D
As for the weapons, rarely have I used the black market to order them, mostly to upgrade. But mid-mission, it's a real life-saver. Cept for those missions where he's too busy to deliver =D Those, stock up first or go in fighting with pistol, like I did. haha.
