I'll second that, Defender.

Evidently we both missed some fun at some long past point on the forums.

Talking In keeping with the true spirit of this thread...

'Bout time to change the subject then, I'd say.

well. we have a problem then. If the topic is "topic changing posts" and we change topics in this post...

then, technically, we're on the same topic

Ok, how about this?

Do you prefer ice cream shakes or malts?

I like a little malt, myself.

Yes, I'm a nutcase--and proud of it!

Alrighty then, let's change that subject quick!

Wait a minute. Don't they have pills for lactose intolerance so that it's not as much of a problem?

They do, but im not your average patient

I cant have aspirin (have no clue why)
I'm alergic to Penecilin and Sulfa Groups (great deal of antibiotics ruled out right there)
I'm on an anticoagulant that reacts with everything under the sun...

Jeez, I guess all that does sort of limit your options. Guess it's time to rephrase the question...

OK, so what's your favorite dessert?

Chocolate cake or a chocolate sundae. em. sundea? sunday? oh. wait. that last one is the day of the week.

damn it! I never stopped to look at how its spelled!!!

Im not a guy that has deserts like normal people. I rarely eat candy and sweets.

The cake incident that i had when i came out of the hospital was a real shocker for my family

after my 2 week admission (I started Prednosone, a steroid in the 2 weeks) I had a craving for chocolate. My parents were shocked, to say the least. So they got a 7 chocolate cake (7 types in 1 cake... not 7 cakes of 1 type..)

I ate most of it to myself. (well. not in a day, more like over a period of a week).

Prednosone, also known as the pregancy pill (well. for the hospital anyways) has alot of side-effects.

Similar to the "side-effects" or "symptoms" of Pregnancy.

It gives you hunger, makes u retain water (i.e gain weight), wierd cravings (for me, chocolate), rash/ "zits" (the colorful term), makes u swell up, morning sickness, naesea and puke.

Basicly, its like being pregnant (thats what my mom said)

Gad, that sounds terrible, all those side effects!

I guess a 7 chocolate cake would take care of cravings for awhile, though. Sounds like a whoooole lot of chocolate or a massive stomach ache to me.

I just started chemo back then so it took my body lots of time so i wouldve been sick either way
