I'm (hopefully) going to be employed again relatively soon, and my summer break from college is coming up, so I'm looking for a game series to kill some time with. Obviously I'm already a fan of Legacy of Kain, I've recently lucked out and found a used copy of Thief Gold for a mere $10 (I've since been told this is insanity by several sources so I mark myself lucky), and I've borrowed every Hitman game there is from a friend of mine. Eidos has treated me quite well, so I figured that if I'm going to be investing time and money in to a new series I should stay loyal, and I have it on good account that Deus Ex will be right up my alley (the first one especially).
So my question is: does anyone know of a good source for a free (legal) demo of any of the games? Also, is this a series that I can jump into at any game or should it be played first to last? I tend to distrust any game review sites for information like this, but I know that the Eidos community has treated me well! Thanks guys.

DX's are my favourite games of all time! Here's a link to a free demo: http://download.cnet.com/Deus-Ex-dem...-10045335.html but I can assure you that there's nothing of a similar atmosphere as Deus Ex 1. You can get both games very cheap on Steam if you want: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?term=deus+ex , £12 for both , Steam always has really cheap games, but if you want proper copies, then I suggest something like www.play.com? Mind you, this is a UK company (idk where you're from), ow and also the £12 is $18.19.
Anyways, you don't have to play the first one to understand the second one but I definitely WOULD play the first one, it's the most brilliant thing ever, no game has beaten this in my charts, it's just unexplainable ![]() Luves x
