Found a way to make 20K everytime...

I just noticed that if you keep doing the races all over again you keep getting paid the 20k for it. So you just pick the easiest race (preferably car race) and just keep going same race and doing them for 20k. I was worried about the whole money problem and was bummed out about it but now it seems easier to buy stuff now and stock up on ammo (buying the weapon). Hope this helps to anyone out there.

I confirmed with a lower time and it doesn't matter, just by completing it you get the 20k.

But that's cheating lol. I remember doing the same in Resident Evil 5 get gold coins and then restart the mission from where you started again.
Collect money for free.

But there's not much point cheating in Just Cause 2 because as a game it is much easier than RE5 for example.
I was stuck badly in RE5 so it warranted me to cheat.

it DOES however solve the problem with cash flow...

you need cash to refit/rearm with the black market...but you can't attack new settlements/bases without ammo...so there you go!

Don't forget you get cash by assissinating colonels...

I discovered this trick while playing the demo but I had to beat my own "record" in order to get the money again!
I don't know if it is different in the actual game but while playing the demo seemed fair to me that I had to improve myself...that way was a lot more "logic" than just having to complete the race.

I agree. You should get 20k only if you beat your time. Otherwise maybe only 5 or 10k.
But it could be that they want you to have money and buy from the BMD and not be intimidated by his outragous prices. The game revolves around blowing things up so they probably dont want us broke with no ammo trying to melee whip fuel tanks lol.

I tested this in the demo air race last night and you get 20000 regardless of whether you beat your time or not.

Sounds good, and its not cheating as it's a feature in the game.
