Not long to go now (if all goes well with the release that is) Been up all night for this just wondering what to do until its time to download....I think im off for some BF Bad Company 2 in the meantime (loads of fun to blow things up there too)

If i heard right, Movura said something about it being released 9 am GMT. Not sure though since his voice was a little muffled in the video.

OMG i just found out how to pass the time... the Just Cause demo is still on xbox marketplace! i never played the first so this should be fun- and ill notice the difference when i get the new one!!!!!!!!

The first part of the Just Cause 1 demo is pretty slow, but it starts to get pretty fun near the end. Don't judge the game on it though, the full game was infinitely better than that demo, which hardly represented the game at all.

Also, lucky you Jezzaxe, only 5pm! Here in Kiwi-Country I'll be waiting until 10pm, then give it quite a while to download (I imagine loads of people will be downloading it), then I also have to get up fairly early tomorrow. Will be a rather late night for me, I imagine.

This is correct, more or less. It may take more time for different territories to receive the demo than others, but yes, basically it's around three hours.

Well, I reckon I might start downloading it when I get home at 8PM, then toddle off to the movies with my girlfriend (Burton's Alice in Wonderland) at 9PM, and when we get back at 11PM, we can play 'til the wee hours of the morning

That's the plan anyways.

I remember the Skate 2 demo didn't come out until about 10pm AEST (Aust. East. Standard Time), so that's 4am PST (ie. Western US), which sounds about right. They set their times for PST, since the central server is in that area (I believe) and at that time, it's the most quiet time for networking, since most yanks are in bed and central Europe is in the middle of the day, when no Major online countries are in download prime time.

usually the u.s. psn demos come out at around 7:00 pm mountain time which is in about 19 hours

Tomorrow I can afford to get away early from my course, Friday afternoons are allocated for 'self-directed study' however I think I can afford to do some self-directed dual-hooking instead!
