Looks like I got in here on time. Images are probably captures from a video, though, and we'll probably see it soon enough.

Of course it was fast. Slow people don't play Deus Ex. If you missed it, it wasn't meant for you.

Either that or we're all guilty of camping.

@ K^2
rabble rabble rabble

The augs seem to be at same level/similar to those of Anna and Gunther (at least visually).

For that long blade to fit in the arm it must be made of somekind of electroactive polymer, right?
Though I have to admit that I liked the blade's old design, where the index finger and the little finger would roll up.

I'm not certain that particular blade is meant to collapse. I think it's meant to be big, mean, and intimidating. I think that it may simply rotate 180 degrees when not in use, as to get it out of the way. Then it would swing back down and out in front when it's stabbity time.

Then how do you...

No, I don't want to know. Forget I ask.

One thing I forgot to mention.

^ In that screenshot, it shows that the humerus of that enemy character is damaged and is at 68% efficiency. Is this indicative of a stat-based area specifc damage system similar to what the original DE had?

I hope so but if this screenshot actually just shows an enemy behind the walls of his apartement (using his augmented vision), chances are that it's just there for the sake of the trailer.

You've gotta understand that in this screenshot he is doing the Icarus so his face is melting!

So... If Adam is Icarus, who is Daedalus?

You mean like in BloodRayne? Won't that make Adam look too "suspect"...?

The social aspect, man! If you look, well, freakin' scary with a rotating blade attached to your arm in plain view people are going to be more easily intimidated.

Or they'll just start shooting. I'd start shooting.

I got a feeling this game is going to be one very special game. maybe even more then Deus Ex 1. you don't get to see an homage to Rembrandt in gaming every day.

can't wait for this game to come out.

These pics look awesome

I really like that cyperpunk-renaissance-style. It gives Deus Ex 3 a really unique and distinctive look.

Can't wait for the trailer...
... and the game to come out
