Unhappy Where to get the Hovercraft?

I'm trying to figure out which retailer has each pre-order bonus in the US. So far I've heard that Amazon has the assault rifle, Gamestop has the revolver, and Best Buy has the car, which means it's either Target and WalMart (neither I'd really trust to deliver on a pre-order bonus since you'd be lucky to find someone there who knows which side's up on a monitor).

All in all, got to say I'm a little miffed with Eidos right now. They seem to be saying, "If you're a big fan of Just Cause in the United States, you don't NEED the Limited Edition... you can just buy the game FIVE TIMES!"

I'd rather pay a little extra for all the content than get only one bit for free.

the only things being sold is the Limited Edition. You can't buy the standard version yet. The difference is in the DLC which is up to the distributors, not the devs. But rest assured, if you get the game right around when it comes out, you'll get the Limited Edition.

Could you explain this to me? I read that the limited edition wasn't going to be sold in the US, and it seems stupid to have exclusive pre-order bonuses when ALL games bought around release will have ALL the DLC. Though honestly I don't care what the letters on the box say, I just want my stupid hovercraft.

Where did you read this? I heard mycoldman talk about this on the digital cowboy podcast (link found on www.panauisland.com) and they all talked about how when they release the game, they're releasing the LImited Edition. Basically the Limited Edition is the first batch of games released. everything after that will be the standard edition with no frills. Just the game.

Hmm, Amazon.co.uk also state their selling the Standard and Limited Edition because when I first pre-ordered off there, it was the Standard Edition and it was actually me who made them update their website to include the Limited Edition as well.

I don't think the people at Wallmart or Target know what they're dealing with... hundreds of foaming at the mouth fans who WANT A HOVERCRAFT. They're websites are absolutely dreadful, and don't really tell me much, other than the release date and five or so random pictures. I really just want the hovercraft... if not Id rather test my luck with someone more reliable like gamestop or Amazon (prolly amazon cause the bullseye rifle was my second choice)

Yeah, I'm not really sure about that. I'm only going off the info I heard from the podcast. The DLC doesn't have anything to do with the edition that you get, anyways. The DLC is based on pre-order. And that is a different beast altogether.

I don't really care what I get for my pre-order DLC, I plan on buying anything else that comes out. So eventually, I'll have it all. I'm going to be using the grapple/parachute most of the time anyways.

Okay I'm just gonna make this clear to all of you in countries other than North America...

WE DON'T GET A SPECIAL EDITION! Seriously we dont even have the option. This is why I posted a forum way back about how it sucks that we aren't getting treated the same. There is no guarantee that we're getting the option to dl eventually either, therefore we either have to deal with getting one dl item or else buying 5 different copies like he said above.
