Default DX Mac Classic Save Crash

Howdy,

I recently re-installed DX on my mac powerbook G4 which seems to work in "classic" without any major hiccups. I have since been able to get past the first level but having saving crashes, mainly with "quick save" but also when saving from the option menu. Has anyone had similar issues or familiar with running DX in classic or on a mac for that matter?

What's odd is that when the crash appears, DX shows up in the OSX dock as if it is still running in classic and you can hear the background noise from the game but cannot recover to the main screen.

Going to try to install on my imac DV which has both OSX and 9.22, but would rather play it on the powerbook.
