If the quality of the game can be improved then they should take more time. With video game technology deleloping all the time you don't wait too long and miss the boat.

I rather have a really nice polished game and wait a bit than having a game full of bugs when released early. But then there's the likes of Resident Evil ORC in which Slant Six delayed it AND it still had a ton of bugs.
But I'm totally fine with the released date pushed back, gives me more time to spend with RE6 ^.^ I was almost worried that I had to choose between RE6 and Tomb Raider in the fall.

Hi everyone. I haven't been on here in a little bit but I saw the new trailer and see the heading saying 2013. Has the game officially been pushed up to 2013? I was hoping it would come out this year, because I feel like we've been waiting a long time as it is. I mean, if they take the time to make an awesome game that's ok.

I just wanted to see if this was official. Sorry for being late to the party.

I'm gutted they pushed it to next year, for two reasons; it looks too good and now i have to take it off my christmas list ha...But no, I understand why they've taken it to 2013, i mean there has to be loads of flaws with the game for them to even consider it.

I hope they sort out Lara's hair, it looks really glitchy and doesn't flow realistically. But other than that, the game looks really super great.

I'd love for them to release a demo, but I won't be able to play it since my xbox doesn't like demo's anymore ._.

Thanks for the info everyone. As disappointed as I am to have to wait longer since it's only June, I don't think I'll be disappointed when I get to play the game. That's what I have to look forward to. I think they are making up for our last TR game Underworld, which was anticipated and could have been better in many ways. I know it was a different company.

BTW, I saw that play arts figure of Lara---AWESOME! It's probably going to be about the size of a barbie doll and around $50 like the Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker ones. I wish that would come with the game though.

I read March 5th is the release date, that's 3 days before my 29th birthday. Wow.

So my new game informer lists WiiU as one of the platforms for the upcoming Tomb Raider, and a friend of mine recently saw it on a list of WiiU games at gamestop. So I was just wondering if there actually is a port coming to the WiiU. Any mods who can confirm please respond. But only if it's good news!...lol jk...not really tho

I think that if no delay would happen, then it would turn on End of November, so it's just like 3 months delay, and if that helps to make a perfect game, then go on I'm sure it will turn a better game, and more polish details, I have faith on them.
