Will Lara's hair move more natural during the final game? I watched the demo of her in the cave and it moves stiffly.

I remember reading somewhere that the hair was going to be improved in the final game but I can't remember where.

KS: “What you see right now is very early for Lara. We have artists working around the clock to get things like fabric and hair moving properly. This is one of the problems with showing content as early as we have been. There are certain things that will take the back burner until the game is finished internally and we get into a phase of polish. Lara’s hair is probably 40 or 50 percent of the way. The face of Lara and clothing of Lara is locked and won’t change, but details are still in flux. She’ll get much better.” [Transcribed from Crystal Habit Podcast]


This tells me that the final game version will be much better than what we saw in the demo..

I hope her hair doesn't change. I really like the length of it and how some of its up but some of it is falling down. I hope the braid doesn't come back. The ponytail is much better!!

ive been watching the Crossover video it looks awesome , stunning graphics & environments . The first thing that caught my attention was the Hair|Ponytail
it looks pretty but ..it also looks like its glued into one piece and kinda stiff... that's just my opinion : 3

what are your thought on laras croft new ponytail ? ^_^

Oh yeah, the hair. They could improve that part. However, it looked ok in some parts of the video.

I guess it's about polishing the game... The first picture is from the start of the game, and the second is from later on. That's why they delayed the game, so I guess we'll see some improvement. Not that it matters to me much

It looks OK, but I was more taken with the general art style. They don't really seem to be going for photo-realism so much as beautiful artwork, and I rather like the effect.

Maybe she founds later some special hair shampoo at the ship wreckage. That's why they are so bright :P

The ponytial itself looks okay, but I'm not fond of the fact that the rest of her hair is glued in place, lol. I hope they improve it.

I agree, but if you slow it down and look at it during the fight with the ice pick when the music is all epic, her hair waves and looks amazing. I think that these gameplay tidbits were taken at various parts of the level and development.. but also keep in mind, she's got blood, dirt, and muck in her hair... so i doubt it would be flowing and beautiful in reality lol

That's from last years E3 lol.. Watch the trailer, she looks pretty muddy and wet to me
