Question Will CD Keep the Hubs?

Obviously we haven't even played the game yet, and we haven't really seen Lara explore any hubs aside from the deer hub, but do you think they will keep the large explorable hubs in the next game?

I question this because I fear and it feels like the gameplay of TR is suddenly adapting to whatever the story demands. I'd hate for us to suddenly be thrust back into the world of globe trotting and lose these hubs systems.

Plus I have a feeling they might think about having some actual swimming in the next game, and the mere thought of standing at the top of one of these giant hubs, and diving down into the water is so exciting. Let alone searching the hubs for those side tombs which may be submerged in water, how cool would that be?

^ I think they should stick to the hub system, the idea is awesome! Plus, it would work even better in future games, since we'll not be stuck on an island xD Imagine going all over the world, like in Legend for example, you're in Ghana, but Ghana level is divided into 2 or 3 hubs that are somewhat big and explorable, be it a forest, tunnels, underground levels, man, you name it! So, you know, 7 or 8 levels, each having 2 or 3 hubs, that would be cool! It doesn't have to be this way, but generally, the hub systems are awesome on the paper, we'll see how they manage in the game They should stick with it, IMO, because TR is about exploring, and they have a wonderful idea about that

And I like the idea of side-tombs in these hubs, there's nothing more rewarding than discovering some kind of cave just because you went exploring hoping there will be one ^^

I love exploring the world and getting such diversity in level sets. The games of TR2, TR3 and TRL were brilliant in giving you cold artic areas, jungles, cityscapes, tombs, iconic world locations etc. I totally hope globe trotting is back beyond this game. It would be okay if there were hubs in each section more like TR3 or Last Revalation but ultimately I don't want to be in the same location for the whole game beyond the island.

completely agree the different locales are one of my favourite things about tr. I guess keeping the hubs depends on how well people like them.
