The old Lara, of course she was emersed in her obessions of exploration and adventure and nothing else.

The new Lara, I can see her being very popular among her peers and having many friends, both male and female. However, so far I still see her main focas as proving herself and making her mark on the the world of archeology, not romance. Not at this point.

Ok, it slipped my mind earlier, then it came back to me: Lara did have a romantic interest in the book "The Lost Cult". And it was a he, not a she, so my bad.
Anyways, I'm not sure how official those 3 books are, even tho they were liscensed by Core & Eidos, but there ya go. Great book, BTW. Highly reccomend it.

And on the issue of Spider-Man's love life, since it caught my attention and I'm a nerd, here's the run down, IMO mind you:

Gwen Stacy - the perfect soulmate, but he was too young and immature for that type of relationship at the time.

The Black Cat - Fun for a night, to be polite, but by no means relationship material.

Mary Jane - The wild party girl tamed & turned into the perfect mate, this time w/ Peter being old & mature enough for the relationship, and thanks to Gwen dying, being appreciative and gratefull of it. You truely never know what you've got until it's gone. Still would've liked to have seen them as parents. Effing Green Goblin and his whole: "You killed my son so I'll kill yours" mentality. What up with that?

The "One More Day" slap in the face to us fans? Joe Qusada's way of fixing Spider-Man so that no writer would have to worry about being the guy who Effed up Spidey after J. M. Strazinsky wrote him so perfectly for so long. Nothing more, nothing less.
