GOG SR1 Xbox360 controller

Hey everyone,

I am sorry if I am being redundant here, I searched for threads about gamepads and tried everything but vampmaster's patch doesn't seem to work with the GoG version.

So I downloaded the official 1.2 patch, tried the unofficial fix but that didn't work (I am under the impression I don't need it anyways since GOG configured it for Win7). My xbox 360 is "seen" by my PC and everything. Except it's not working in the game.

The only thing I can do with it in the main menu is move the analog up, but selection goes down. And when I use the keyboard to load a save, I can't use the controller at all, Raziel just stands there staring at me in amusement (probably).

I tried playing on the keyboard and honestly it's a nightmare. I am new to the series and I want to enjoy it without being constantly frustrated.
So any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there, yeah, too bad they didnt update the controller compatibility for SR1. To get around this, connect your controller and have xpadder5.3 open. Assign the keys on the keyboard (A is for attacking, D for devouring, S for walking and F for firing projectiles, control for camera,enter is glyph selection) to the xpadder profile with your controller and launch SR1. Make sure the keyboard controlls are selected and you can play with your controller
