I bet most here will say 'Tomb Raider'. Lol.
The best games, if you look for them, like on eBay are like 115.00.

My favorite video game is Assassin's Creed II, while I think the best video game I have ever played is Uncharted 2.

Uncharted 2 was pretty good. I liked it more than the third installment.

I'm not sure if I could pick a "best game". All games are different, trying to achieve different things: I don't think there is a best game that could be picked out of every game ever made.

Have to go for Tomb Raider 2 as my top game ever. With Sonic 3 and Knuckles as close second and the original Tomb Raider third.

I like the entire Commandos series but if I have to pick one I would choose Commandos 2. The combination of strategic gameplay, good music and graphics still makes me want to replay it today while it's quite old.

Lol. Yeah. I played 'Commandos 2' till the discs deteriorated. Bought it again and deteriorated again. Although there's not much of a challenge to it for me anymore. It's graphics have moved on though.

I still get a ton of enjoyment from Super Mario 64 to this day. I'd say Ocarina of Time is up there to, but there's some admitted nostalgia goggles on when dealing with that one.

I hope you two don't windup as a bad Facebook story.

I skipped that generation. I was never into cartridge gaming myself. I was always too high up to notice those things like 'Sonic-Hedgehog' seemed childish. When everybody looks at you and expects maturity you don't think of those things. Like I was surprised when home/video games were out how easily people were entertained by simple things. They were usually then all in inebriation but that's not the point. He he!

Anyway a good game, if you wanted one would be 'Trickstyle'. They just don't make many hoverboard games. They followed up with 'Airblade' but I think they tried too hard.

This is a toughie, but gun to my head RIGHT NOW, I'll say "Silent Hill 2". Excellent story, great characters, good gameplay, and amazing sound design as well as visual design. I can play it on any day and still get goosebumps and just sit back and go: "Oh WOW." after the ending. Anyone who says video games can not be art has never played it. Pure. Masterpiece.

Mind you, I'm talking about the original PS2/X Box version. Not the HD "tune up". I haven't played that, and as of this writing, never will. You don't mess with perfection.

The best game is usually the newest. So that'd have to be 'LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW' at the moment! Real hot on the scene right now. Who couldn't love a chainsaw totting zombie killing cheerleader. I bet EiDOS is kicking themselves for not being the publisher! It just came out June 12. I have to admit though, the story line is probably pretty weak.

Damn, and here I was expecting Shakespeare!

I have some favorite games. Hard to say what the best game is ever from all standpoints. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Blood Omen: The Legacy of Kain, Half-Life 2's saga, Mass Effect, Resident Evil 4, Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES), Super Mario Bros 3... That's a pretty good start.
