It would have had more sense if they had made a skip button and more funny soundtrack instead of stupid several difficulty modes.

What actually will ruin this hitman is the disabled HUD without D-pad menu, crosshair and instinct in all forms.

As an example for the opposite, Ubisoft included that same "feature" in Assassin's Creed 2. Based on the overwhelming negative feedback, they flatout stated that AC3 will not support PC mouse control at all, exactly because of that additionl feature. They got negative feedback on a flaw in a previous instalment, and based on that they decided to go out of their way to preserve the flaws that people explicitly criticized, in the next instalment.

I recently visited Ubisoft forum and found out that their developers are more original and creative in this way. So, instead of useless modes, they have added only options to disable hud and/or popups. No wonder why they have got more fans. Because they do not divide people, but connect them.

As one of the voices complaining about this - THANK YOU.

This proves that if you express a problem in a somewhat mature manner, instead of 'F THIS U SUK I NO BUY GAM I H8 YOU', developers will listen.

Preorder reordered.

I don't want to sound like a downer here, but "committing to creating the best game possible" would mean that the budget and focus for graphics and detail content would be less than 50%, not more. The majority of game development resources for modern AAA games goes to graphics because the games there are unreasonable expectations for how the games should look. That means that the majority of the development resources go to things that are unrelated to the actual gameplay. Therefore by definition nobody is committed to creating the best game possible. Just the best game that the unreasonably prioritized visual features will allow within the constraints of the development time and resources.
