Thanks Ape Beast.
Yes, Absolutely awesome work Arrakim, I love it. Webs are very nice touch. I hope we see them in Thief 4.

Can somebody make truly high quality image of "A possible depiction of The Master Builder fighting The Trickster."
(this: http://thief.wikia.com/wiki/The_Mast...ing_PAINT1.GIF )

What I have seen look rather fan-made(or low quality in other words).

@Arrakim1
I really like the haunt. Especially the webs on his hammer. That's the best kind of fan art whan details like this appear.
Btw: Who are you planning to draw next, if it's not a secret?

@Ape Beast
Sure. Here it goes (haven't been in this thread for a while, so it's late)

I´m going to draw Gamall (the hag) and a gargoyle from TDS. But it might take a while before I finish it. I´m a bit tired of drawing atm, and I´m also having trouble getting the gargoyle look the way I want.

I love gargoyles and such like on church roofs... and I always look for the Green Man, always hidden up high in lofty places.
One of the most spectacular homages to this pagan God can be seen in Stratford Upon Avon's interior cathedral roof.... you cannot see with the naked eye (obviously); just take a pair of binoculars in with you.

Hm... It'll be interesting to see how you reinterpret her. I'm looking forward to your next picture.
Though I myself wouldn't draw her. I find her concept a bit silly.

Witches, especially not fanservice-type sexualized ones, are always good, but for me it seems that Gamall lacks in story a bit. You just search for a culprit and then - voila, here she is. But you do not get any explanation beyond "She is ancient and evil and wants all the powers for herself". The Thief world has always had enough secrets, but usually there're some hints and tensions.
Anyway, that's what fandom is for - so I'll wait for your interpretation. May be it'll finally click fo me too.

There was more to Gamall, to be honest. She was one of the early Keepers, becoming the hag through the glyphs and the Glyph of Transmutation. After living centuries in silence, she re-entered the Keepers in the form of Lauryl, taking place as the Interpretator in order to prevent the Final Glyph being activated by Garrett. She was un-matched with and enslaved by the Glyphs. Gamall was the brethren and the betrayer.

I think she fits among the other two main antagonists in Thief perfectly. Can't wait to see Arrakim1's take on her!

I somehow missed the former keeper part. Or forgot it. I should finally replay TDS.
It was logical that in the third game the antagonist came from inside the Keeper order, but I thought during the game that it would be the Keepers themselves, lazy and corrupt as many of them had become. Hag was too much of a typical monster. I wish her Keeper origin was fleshed out more... There was lots of tension bult between Garrett and the Keepers, but in the end it was kind of wasted, as the focus suddenly shifted to Gamall. I get that she's the evil inherent to the glyph magic, from which the Keepers get their power, but when she appeared, monstruous, murderous amidst the plot of intrigue and information, she felt like deus ex machina. I didn't see much of Caduca to feel bad for her too or understand much of the interpreters business. I liked the concept of the story of TDS, not its actual progression in the game.
But that means that I'm all the more interested in Arrakim1's take on the subject.

Her story is quite interesting and creepy as well. But her motives are not that much. I agree with deadoptimist on that one. Gamall is the less interesting antagonist in the trilogy for me.

I also agree. She really has boring motives.

Constantine was a weak old god that wanted the world to be as obsolete as he is.
Karras wanted to destroy everything so that he could meet his imaginary god alone.
Gamall wanted to prevent anyone from stopping her pursuit for unlimited power.

Her motives are perhaps slightly less original than the motives of the previous villains, but their motives weren't exactly genius either.

Her methods of doing what she did were somewhat original don't you think? Stealing and hiding written prophecies through centuries to prevent anyone reading them from discovering her schemes as well as the means to stop her. I haven't heard of such a story anywhere else. The Dark Project was basically someone opening the gates of hell, and The Metal Age was about an AntiGod WMD.

Yes her story is indeed interesting. You are absolutely right. I think TDS have a wery good story altogether.

Constantine's Sword, with helps of Boxsmith and janiashvilli, I know it is far from perfect though:

Now laying somewhere, waiting to be found:
