Tomb raider underworld all messed up !help :(

So i downloaded on torrent The Tomb Raider Underworld ( yeah i know its not right but i have no money to buy a new one lol) , and at the Menu everything was fine but when the game started everything was green and red and blue and bla bla .... The floor and walls are green and then they turn blue and then red. I can move Lara and the game is pretty fast , its not lagging or things like that.
And lara is all white , the only thing painted is her hair I can see like the walls ands everything but they are all green and the only thing i notice well is her hair and the fire .
Sorry i could not print screen , i tried 3 or 4 times.
I wanted this game for a loooong time please help

buy the game, if you have a nice imac or macbook, get someone to give you an itunes card 25 dollar and then redeem then buy. Loving TRU right now i got it 5 days ago and after 2 days i'm already on mayan (game goes by quickly cause its SOOO addicting!!!!!! the environment the graphics beautiful)

Hello folks,
newbie to the forum but tombraider fan for years.

The thing is, I have genuinely bought the game (not sure how I can prove this to you) and it worked fine on my old laptop and played beautifully.

On my new(ish) laptop (a dell Inspiron N5010 running windows 7) I am experiencing this problem described by the naughty pirate above.

This is my desperate cry for help since I have trawled forums looking for help and the above post is the only instance I can find of the exact problem I'm having.

The textures are all blocky and in primary colours, the only thing that displays correctly is Lara's hair and the fire in Croft Manor. Yet the display of options when you pause the game is perfect. And Anniversary and Legend run fine on this laptop - so why not Underworld? Is it my graphics card? I repeatedly go into setup from the disc menu and change all the setup options like texture detail and texture filtering, but being a bit of an IT luddite I don't really know what I'm doing and can't fix it.

I know you must suspect I have pirated the game but I haven't - wouldn't know how to. I'd be more than happy to buy the game again if it would help but I don't think it's the cd that's at fault since it still works fine on my old laptop (or did until my monitor broke). Can anyone advise on a change of settings or a new graphics card that might solve the problem?

So any advice is welcome, thanks so much for reading. I was so happy to find another report of my problem, only to discover to my horror that said problem was a result of pirating. I love Underworld and really want to play it again.
