Bane and Batman

Is it just me or is it implied in the Arkhamverse that Bane broke Batman's back. Besides the game over animation in which he breaks Batman's back, there's one where he says "Once again I have defeated you!" and the armored Batsuit has a back brace installed

"No Bane, this time I break you." Is enough evidence to that theory. I'd say Bane broke Batman's back in the Arkhamverse already.
