Default How I kill time while waiting for Thief 4?

By making a Let's Play of Thief 2 of course!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ov3iLLzpWKI&feature=plcp

I decided I wanted to start working on a YouTube channel for funzies so I figured I'd share this little Thief project here. I'll also be doing a playthrough of Thief: The Dark Project and Thief: Deadly Shadows in the future as well as alot of other videos.

Any feedback would be awesome cause I'm relatively new to the whole LP ordeal. Thanks much

You have a very nice voice. It fits perfectly as a lets player. You should however invest in a new microphone or at least tune the one you got. I would like it if you didn't scream as loud as you did some times. On the positive side I really like that you always have something to say. Most people get that awkward silence when they don't know what to say and instead just start to mumble some stupid things because they don't know what to say.

Good work all in all. I would watch it if you fixed the sound somehow.

Thanks for the feedback so far! I'll be sure to adjust my mic next time I record, no problemo. I'll make sure my mic isn't so close it's nearly touching my lips too lol.

Hey guys! (and Viktoria)

I decided to take a more professional approach and instead of doing a Let's Play, I do more of a walkthrough/guide of each level with some side commentary of course.

Check it out, might reveal some secrets in the levels which you never knew about

Good one.
And I chuckled at the comment left by NarkFiveOne.

Lol I loved the running commentary SB. I kept cracking up as you moved along. It's quite the opposite of one of my favorite youtube vids for Thief, namely the one that deals with Shalebridge (my favorite zone). While it's completely silent (except for game noise and Garret) it really lends itself well to that particular zone. I just kinda wish the guy who made it had gone on to make a "part 2". Sigh.
As for the things I do to keep busy till Thi4f, lately I've been playing Amnesia, Skyrim and even Planescape, just to get my sneak fix on. I also watch the show Leverage for various ideas and while I wish I had more time to delve into my Thiefy shadows more often, for now I can satisfy myself with playing my GFs MMO (Rift) and really POing her guildmates by running my character as a Thief with a capital T instead of as a "dps class". When they start getting ticked it brings me to my happy place.

Ahhh Amnesia! Good choice. As for Skyrim I never got around to completing that game so alot of the content would be fun to come back to. Maybe do an LP of that too

And thanks for the comments. I'll be putting up content pretty regularly so feel free to sub if ya like

Decided to change things up with a new channel/new series with some Torchlight 2. Check it out if you guys like.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T1K6W4jt_A

By the way I definitely recommend the game to anyone who enjoys a good Hack and Slash RPG. For $20 it's a steal and I'd go as far as to say that it's even better than Diablo 3 from a perspective of actual gameplay and replay value opposed to production value.

Keeps alot of the formulas and aspects that made Diablo 2 so great and addictive back in the day. Makes me think about Thief 1 and 2 also and how much greater they were than Thief 3. I've still got high hopes for Thief 4 though. Fingers crossed.
